if he wants out, we would have already know about it already. who can stop that mouth?

but even if he does, i feel he'll suppress it just so he can have some playoff success this year.

but who doesn't blow a dime once in a while?

(and imo 0 is fast and is decent in his shooting. his play-making is bad.)

By his account, this is the nba and u should be able to make wide open layups.

He's coming out with this NOW when we've had the same scrubs for the past few seasons?

i think it will work...if only because t-mac knows there's not a lot of places left for him to go to compete and win as his body isn't getting any younger....and for everyone else who knows he's a guy who they need in the clutch.

There's a mutal benefit thing going on here and usually that's what wins out at the end of the day.

SO i'd be surprised if in a month everyone isn't hunky funky happy and we all are talking about which seed do we want to get in the playoffs.

Just because I never posted it before, doesn't mean this is the 1sttime he has said something. Just like when yao called the team soft last yr, he was like pot meets kettle.

When Yao called the team soft, he included himself in his criticisms. Tracy, on the other hand, seems to think other people are at fault when his own lazy ass wouldn't do through the rehab necessary for a full comeback.

Nothing said about McGrady upset with getting his "dimes blown" doesnt get much more respect his way really. ...Its still calling out more than 1 teammate and gearing it all for HIM. Its a milder more team oriented form of Me-Mac. Systems change, players change, coaches change, opponents change...McGrady's moods change, but not his style of play. Seems more he's trying to 1-up his teammates than get his team 1-upped over the opponent.

It is a bit suprising that Brandon Roy can basically name Nicolas Batum his own personal opening day starter but McGrady cant get a short little #0 more minutes...really the most suprising thing is we thought McGrady and Rafer were on-court hump buddies but I guess not.

Shroopy- Many people will not believe me or say its hogwash. He didn't do that because the last time he did that, he was told he should be a basketball player and not play gm. Remember Mike Miller? Plus, what would his already poor perception be like?

I asked what happened to his rehab this summer. I was told the shoulder surgery really affected his rehab on his knee. Like I told DD and others that if Shane was healthy, he wouldve missed the 1st month of the season. He wasn't ready, but with ron coming in along with the young guys, he felt like he needed to play.

Back to Brooks, he really, really likes the kid. He says the league is setup for a guy like him. He also said it makes the team a lot harder to guard. He didn't think adelman would go back to rafer because the team played so well with brooks starting. Thinks brooks took it a little hard and that's why he's struggled a bit lately.

For those saying T-Mac has been carrying Yao and this team, my question is where? Where has he carried them? Where has this great leader taken them?

    Exactly.

I've been holding this stuff for a while, so I might as well let some of it out.

He thinks there is a good chance he will get a extension if he stays healthy. Not at his current rate, but 9 ish. Before any of you fall out your chairs, check this out. When other wings ask him about playing with Yao, he said its not as easy as some would think. He used to always ask Kobe what is it like playing with a big guy. Kobe said its not that bad because Shaq really allowed him to go one on one a lot. Plus Shaq can score different ways. When he got traded to houston, kobe said it will take more adjusting because Yao is limted in terms of stamina and court positioning. Carmello,Joe Johnson, and Bosh has asked him what its like playing with Yao. He has said Yao is a great dude, a hard worker and have a great attitude and love for the game and team. On a side not, its not that easy to co exist because yao takes up a lot of space and the tempo is really, really slow all the time. Its not Yao's fault he's so big, its just not as easy as it may seem to play with a guy like Yao.

I don't know if that's throwing salt in the game, but its kinda interesting.

Before the vultures come out, it makes sense really....there's just no chance of McGrady having it easy. It really is damned if he does damned if he doesnt. He isnt saying anything else another player wouldnt. In fact he might win some converts with the "Start Brooks" crowd. And McGrady wanting to play with certain TEAMMATES is understandable.

McGrady doesnt have to vocally acknowledge the critics directly. But he should still show dedication to his body and to his work. In the end, it just doesnt show...and he should still lighten up a little on the superstar entitlement I think...just me. The superstar way doesnt work now, its the team way. Its ego in check way. Its SENSE OF URGENCY way.

Even if its unfair to McGrady, even if he's a tragic NBA figure, its just the way it is.

And I think Yao for the good of his own health is a 30 minutes a game player on a regular paced team, 33-35 on a team designed for him.

I've thought to myself McGrady saw what Dwight Howard turned into and maybe wishes himself back in Orlando deep down. Then wakes up and he's a big stiff limited Yao and some bald stumpy guy (in the JVG days) barking at him, and Chuck Hayes as his starter. If they'da only beaten Dallas or Utah once, they'd both not have the big monkey on their backs and pressure from everyone about all this crap.

Thing is too, the nba is like a frat and a lot of those guys talk to eah other. I used to think this would be a very attractive place for a wing to replace Tracy, but the more I start to think about it and really get into this, it is a little harder to play at a snails pace and have to wait a lot. Now if Yao adds a consistent mid range J, then it makes it a lot easier, but wade has been through that. Lebron and the cavs seem tp play better without Big Z also.

This is the same song that TMAC was singing in Orlando. "Everyone around me is not good that is why I can't win". I can't deny he had some horrid Orlando teams, but this comment now doesn't hold as much water with me as this team obviously is not even remotely that bad. Looking at the stats, just to make sure that I am not crazy, most of our team is shooting at what is considered a good clip.

Tracy is getting better at placing some of the blame on himself, but he still seems to always be looking for other reasons why the team he is on is not winning. And while I appreciate his frustration, comments like these divide a team, not unite it.

Faster does not equal better, especially in the playoffs.
