Earl Watson would have made both of his free throws.

a better shooter, hell yes. better defender, probably not. better game manager, probably not. he's more of a backup point, but so is rafer. i would do the trade though because you never know what can happen. just look at what happened when we got d wesley and j barry, both average to mediocre players, for jim jackson and tyronn lue, jimmy was definitely a better player, the rockets suddenly got a whole lot better. i'd take the chance. our offense will definitely improve because you can't just let watson have open looks all game. with rafer you can.

If the Rockets are looking at getting back a 2009 picks their chances might be slim. Trading Head might be a difficult task because teams that may want him are so close to LT, or they just don't have a draft pick to give, and then there's the lack of contracts to make a deal work without going over LT.

IMO the Rockets might have to package Head with Dorsey in order to get back something maybe out of favor young talent.
Several deals that could work (ie both teams stay under LT) for Head & Dorsey are:

76ers: Jason Smith + Royal Ivey
Wizards: Oleksiy Pecherov + Juan Dixon
OKC: Saer Sene + rights to DeVon Hardin (drafted 2nd round)

Nets rely on a scoring PG. Interestingly, Vince Carter also does a lot of the playmaking work much like his cousin

    I like that.

I wouldn't mind relasing cap space for resigning Ron Ron.

Rockets need to keep luther head under contract till the 2013-14 for a cheap price, because he would be a good commentator.

I think if that is really just an open position..... that SF3 could have had.......that we bring back the last heart of a champion standing.......Sam Cassell.

He's 3rd string and could help and retire with the rockets..... would he be happy with a ring from the pine? Maybe he would.

Or maybe he would. He probably can't even play several minutes at a high level anymore, he's their Deke. Plus he's like 243 in alien years

Yeah plus that would make 3 shoot first PG's on a team with scorers already.

    Alston sucks

ABrooks is too short and is a back up who doesn't look for the tallest player on the court.

Sam I Am is sort of both of them mixed.

trade tmac and luther to nets for vince carter. LoL. would be interesting if that would work? But ridiculous at the same time. Never gonna happen though, nice to dream though.
