No that is a added perk to getting him the main reason is so that we have a big three to compete with the celtics and lakers big three

Do it get it done its all players that all three of these teams are shopping, everybody gets happy we all win lets do this get it over with

    Rockets trades
    tmac
    alston

    Bulls trades
    hinrich
    hughes
    gray

    Toronto trades
    Parker
    Oneal

    Houston recieves
    Parker
    Hinrich

Parkers is gone next year which will free up money to sign wafer and artest

Chicago is looking for a real big man so they get oneal for players that didnt want

Toronto says that the oneal experiment isnt working so we give them a new experiment with tmac and hughes

I just tried a Battier + Head for Rip Hamilton trade in espn's machine. It said it was a no go and had to cut another 150k from the Rockets can someone explain how the Trade Exceptions work?? We have like 7 million worth of exceptions we could use, but then denies the trade.

Also you want TMacs cousin over him??? NEVER

    Starbury over TMAC??? NEVER

Any trade involving tmac should be an automatic no because either we get nothing in return or the other team would never give us what is being suggested (david lee)

There are a lot of trade scenarios for Shane and Ron (for a pg) but I was wondering about your thoughts on this trade.

Sixers trade: Andre Miller, Elton Brand
    Rockets trade: Tracy Mcgrady

    Or something along the line.

I think 3 crayons is asking a bit much you need to be more realistic and just settle for 2 or even 1

I wouldn't say that. Its obvious that the Elton Brand experiment in Philly has failed (some reports of moving him plus his contract sucks) and Miller has been in many trade rumors.

Tmac still has the skill set to be effective and a Iggy-Tmac could be a good one-two punch. Tracy's salary comes off the books in 2010 so Philly will have the ability to sign a few players to help out Iggy.

They aren't going anywhere this season to begin with and with Mac they can go back to their faster pace system.

For point guard, they might shift Tracy or Williams to that spot.

Have you seen Brand's contract and what he has done for this team? I'm pretty sure they want him out. ;)

Did you say tmac can keep up with the faster pace system, he cant even keep up with our system centered around the slow pace of yao, that would be like saying tmac would fit in new york thats just ridiculous man

I didn't mean FAST, with Elton Brand they played some slow ass basketball. With McGrady they can go a little faster but not like last year.

Im sorry man i just dont think they would even trade tmac for either of those players straight especially miller, maybe and i mean maybe brand but he hasnt been healthy enough this season for them to really judge if he fits so I just dont think they would do that.

so here we are guys......we might as well accept the fact the Mac isn't going anywhere.....That leave us Battier and our young PF's as trade bait, me personally like the PF's so i am proposing a trade that sends Battier out of Houston....Tell me what you think and remember we have to give up something to get back something we want...

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...834~2763&teams=10~16~10~4~4~16~16~4&te=&cash=

All we can hope for is going into the playoffs healthy and in tmac's case in shape...new line up would be this here going into playoffs

    Hinrich, Brooks
    Mac, Wafer, Barry
    Artest, Mike Miller
    Scola, Landry
    Yao, Deke

We would be able to score with the best of them (since we seem to not be playing any defense these days anyway)......Miller can get his own shot unlike Battier and Hinrich is a better PG than rafer....only rotation player we are giving up in this trade is Rafer...Battier has only played in 18 games this year and just has not looked the same anyway....coming off the bench with a whole lot of scoring of Miller, Wafer, Brooks and Landry....Please don't get caught up in the Battier leaving Houston, if every team was willing you have to pull the trigger on a deal like this
