Tracy's hard core followers will follow him to the ends of the earth, still thinking that he will become MJ and carry the Rockets to a championship. It is truly like beating your head against a wall just trying to get them to think logically about Tracy as a person and as a basketball player. I don't know what exactly was said between Yao and Tracy or the team, but I have to believe what Doc Rocket is telling us. If you put down the tracy tinted colored specks for just one minute you might just understand. or maybe this is just a bad dream and you are fixing to wake up. Personally I don't know if Yao truly wants Tracy out, but what I do know is that Tracy makes me sick, his attitude, the way he carries himself, the way he talks and that most of all "I want Tracy out!". Good thing I'm not the Roxs management because Tracy would have been gone yesterday.
He was.....!!! He has been asked to leave until he is ready to play hard....they should have done it sooner, but hey...good riddance, ride with the guys who are going to play hard. Was Tmac on the bench last night? Ron was.... DD
Honestly, who the hell is Yao to be frustrated with ANYTHING that McGrady has done? If it wasn't FOR McGrady, this team would have gone NOWHERE last year while Yao was sitting out, not to mention all the games that Yao has missed over the past 3 seasons. I understand that it's frustrating for Yao to sit there and watch T-Mac hem and haw about whether he's gonna play, but to "not talk" is just plain childish on his part. T-Mac hasn't done anything personally to Yao for him to freeze him out, and I just can't believe that things are anywhere near that bad between the two of them. I have a feeling that once T-Mac gets back on the court, and starts demonstrating that he is healthy, all these garbage rumors will be quelled, and this team can get back to playing basketball.
True, but Yao is frustrated over what McGrady HASNT DONE...namely rehab properly and play hard for his teammates. Yao's injuries were very unfortunate but no one can question that as soon as he was cleared to do the lightest of drills and rehab that he was back out there working hard every day. And JVG has said numerous times that Yao was the only superstar he has ever been around that relishes his teammates' success just as much or more than his own success
None of this was happening when we were playing that crappy, slowdown, all defense no offense type of winning basketball when my man was around. Discipline. Highly underrated in society.
I think the hardest workers have every right to be miffed when their half-effort counterparts start causing disruptions. I don't care what my coworkers make, what hours they work, how often they surf the web, or who works the most. What I DO care about is that they show up and get their responsibilities done. If someone starts effecting my job because they aren't chipping in or are more concerned about getting done than getting it right.....than I have all the right in the world to be frustrated in them. Are you hinting at Tmac being traded to the Hawks or Raptors. Are they the two teams involved. Both are Eastern Conference teams and both could view Tmac as the edge to make a deep playoff run (Atlanta) or make a playoff push (Toronto). If so what possible players. Im assuming Morey is looking for a PG and Center but possibly a wing to replace Tmac. Atl: Maybe a Tmac for Bibby and Pachulia. I doubt Smith or Williams is attainable and know Johnson isnt. Toronto: I dont see how a deal is made without it being Jermaine O'Neill. I doubt they give up Calderon, know they wont give up Bosh, and money is impossible to match unless it is like a 5 for 1 deal. Not sure what I think about either option, if they even are options that is.
A Raptor is not a bird. Raptors are not Pterodactyls, either. I don't think he was hinting at a destination, but I could be wrong.
Not fair. You KNOW McGrady prefers to stay in the locker room. Doesn't have to suit up, can put on his nice, fluffy sherpa robe and slippers, wrap up in a cozy comforter with a mug of hot cocoa, and pop Titanic into the big screen with the lights dimmed. Ah - I follow. Hmm. That would also look a lot better as their logo than Barney.
I has already finished, I guess I was late. All I remember: - David belives T-Mac loves basketball - He is pretty sure McGrady will not be traded, because of his contract. - He also thinks Ron will stay here in Houston after this season - David thinks Ron can really help this team during the playoffs - He thinks the decision to sit Ron and McGrady until they are 100% was excellent, because the team will need them later - Rockets need healthly McGrady
I missed the first bit, but he was re-emphasizing that it's not a personal issue with Yao and McGrady, everyone's frustrated, etc. Expects McGrady to remain a Rocket, possibly moved next year as a 2010 expiring. Thinks Artest should sign a 1-year deal with us and then become a consolation price in the 2010 sweepstakes. Doesn't have the highest view of McGrady right now as a player on the court.
I like he didn't talk AT ALL about the whole Yao wants Tracy out bit? So who is dodging now, badgerfan? As I've said all along. Things haven't been kosher, but aren't at critical mass to the point of people want Tracy off the team. IF Tracy comes back motivated and mentally right, everything will sort itself out. If not, it's gonna get real ugly.
