I think he is being evasive because they have in fact had quarrels/arguments, but he sees this as an external attack on a team that is trying to pull itself together after an extremely frustrating period, so he decides to be political about it instead of engaging in another battle. Like I said, if I were Yao I would probably respond the exact same way.

That's a possibility. I'm pretty sure Yao is hiding something. Exactly what he's hiding is obviously completely up in the air at this point.

i thought yao said earlier this year that he would dedicate this season to thank tracy for carrying the team the past few years when yao was out?

why you want him out so quick lol? jk

but i think you're right. it's just frustration knowing how large of an impact tracy gives and seeing him play so badly frustrates EVERYBODY.

when he gets back and play better, all this will diffuse and nobody will remember what happened.

I think you guys are reading WAY too much into this

PLEASE THINK BACK TO ALL HIS PAST INTERVIEWS AND THAT ENGLISH IS NOT HIS FIRST LANGUAGE.

This sounds to me like typical fob speak and logic. This is how he speaks. I've heard of countless interviews with him and there is a little essence of dancing around but his not directly trying to avoid the question to me. But its not as bad as its being made out to be

DD, thanks for the kind words and thanks for Clutchfans allowing us to be so involved.

This was the first time Yao heard of the story and was taken back by it...Yao never said anything about how he wants Tracy or does not want him. I wanted to ask him more questions but he was getting annoyed so I let it be.

Hope this brings more light to the situation...1560 is all about getting information out before other radio stations.

props to raheel for asking the questions that most reporters would not ask and to follow it up also.

i am not going to read way too much into Yao's comments but imo his responses seem to dodge the questions than directly answer them

errr, I speak English (as a second language, the same as Yao), and I actually take it literally too.

And frankly I don't think it matters what he's hiding. Locker room disagreements happen. Quarrels happen. Especially when you've had the type of season the Rockets have had so far. If this were a football team you'd probably hear of punches breaking out between teammates or something of that nature. As long as it stays within the locker room and the team pulls itself together afterwards, they will be fine and they can come out stronger.

T-Mac's second biggest problem after his injuries has always been his mouth. He just says what's on his mind and can be honest to a fault. Often he doesn't know when the right thing to do is simply shut up and let your actions speak for themselves. And frankly I think that's more than likely caused some locker room friction here.

wow, who cares if there are? why are you guys even speculating?

we ALL KNOW THERE ARE PROBLEMS. tracy admitted today with his press conference after the game. but those problems appear repairable.

unless you know something, stop speculating.

people on this board speculate so much it amazes me. you really think yao is a politician who can pick his words and what to say to calm everyone down?

HE SIMPLY ANSWERED the reporter's question. and he was taken back by it and sounded angry/offended.

and props to you my friend. we want DIRECT SOURCES, not pure speculations. we have gossip magazines for that.

    continue the good job.

    Really appreciate the job, Raheel.

That said, I think you sort of wasted your time with people on this board. People are going to believe what they believe whatever Yao might have said.

lol isn't your response a conspiracy theory in itself? i love how people can read minds on this board.

Thanks Easy...I dont think its ever a waste of time if we can get it straight from the source. Is there a definite answer to the Aldridge story? No, because until his source comes out we will never know who said it and what that source based his information on. We don't need guys reporting about a team they dont cover everyday.

You are not giving Yao enough credits, he is a lot more diplomatic than Mr.Mcgrady

The difference is "other" reporters could really careless about the Rockets and Clutchfans. While I know for a fact you and Nuno are real genuine fans of this team. Thanks guys!

I know. Nothing against your work. I am just tired of the back and forth arguing about TMac. No one is going to change his mind. Everything is being spun into whatever anyone wants.

in my mind yao clearly dodged and covered it. he may have done it as a reaction to a small surprise, or he may have done it for the good of the team. we have a good locker room? yao, you have to know everyone knows that's a lie by now. lol. oh maybe you meant tonight when #1 wasn't there?

it makes me believe there is something going on b/w him and #1, we just don't know to what extent.

a game like tonight is exactly why i dont want the ball in yao's hand in the clutch. taking a two pointer when we needed a 3 to tie? BRILLIANT!

i love yao cause he works hard and effort is never in question, but hes already in second half of his career and he has proven he cant carry a team to anything but will put up nice stats and thats the end of it. the guy is a career choker in pressure time

its sad cause with mcgrady injured and struggling or being run outta town, yao is the default franchise player and that can only mean rockets will never go anywhere cause he yao is not a franchise player

oh well i guess its this year and then we rebuild for another ten years
