Is this the best or worse loss of the season so far?

  1. Best: We fought with heart and grit and almost beat the Lakers without our stars!

Best. If you ignore those last few moments, we played the Lakers so tough, they needed a Kobe miracle to ice it. I might actually be made a believer out of this "played with heart" stuff.

T-mac needs to stop cheating on his wife just to get some of mutumbo's goodies...

This game gives me hope. So it was a good loss.

Plus we got to see the Cookie Monster and a dominant stretch by Yao.

Not bad without Artest and T-Rat.

I'm hopeful despite the loss. We hung in with the best team in the league until the final two minutes....well minute I guess.

A win would've been great, but a loss, and a close one at that, could make McGrady feel like he's needed to get us over the hump. A blowout loss and he figures we suck and aren't worth trying for, a win and he starts pouting, but a close loss...

Best loss. Despite the obvious lopsided officiating and two of our "star" players out, we managed to give the Lakers a run for their money.

Though I'm still in denial because Wafer didn't touch the ball in the final seconds, but RAFER did.

The best part for me was Yao showed some leadership initiative and we fought hard all the way.

I hope people don't start pointing finger at each other. We desperately need some chemistry building right now.

There is no such thing as a best loss.

At the end of the day it's a loss in the column.

I don't know what it is, but losses aren't really bothering me too much at this point. I felt the same way last December/January. If this was a March loss with all our players on the court, it would sting. But I'm pretty much satisfied with this effort.

Yes, there is. Remember the Philadelphia game last year. And 3 this year and today. All good losses.

IMHO its neither, however its a good loss, because hopefully this game will open RA's eyes that Rafer Alston just cannot be depended on late games. I'm sick and tired of seeing him on the court in crunchtime. Of course, close losses like this make Adelman's seat a little hotter, so maybe he'll get off it and start coaching once again.

    definitely a good loss
I mean we showed heart, we actually did, unlike at Toronto, which I think is clearly the worst loss of the season, we showed a lot of heart, and it gives us fans hope that when Ron Artest comes back, we will be able to match up with teams like LA.
And I did Not forget about T-mac,just that he does not seem like a part of the Rockets anymore...

Sure there is. Think about it - The team played well together without Tracy or Ron. Rockets are a step closer to being "true" contenders.

me too. i wasn't like the lakers were sucking it up. they were hitting everything under the sun with hands in their faces. if kobe drives, it's an automatic foul. most of their points come from low percent crazy outside shots. i'm pretty sure if we had artest, we would've won.
