This is about him taking charges. Kinda funny to see but worries me. Usually if he goes for the block he would get called for the foul 7 outta 10 times. Although he has caused more turnover this way in our favor when a big man tries to go to the hoop they usually have the size and weight to physically knock Yao down. With Yao already being a heavy dude would you be worried he might hurt another part of his body on the fall? Or do you think if he falls "right" it will be okay? Otherwise its been working better then the unfair blocking calls when going for the shot block.

he learns from shane, don't fall in a thud...use the sweat on ur back and slid on the floor when you fall.

i see him doing that, i am not worried, it's better than trying to block a shot by jumping in traffic, dangerous for a guy with so many leg injuries.

he won't get hurt.. when he falls it is a sliding motion.. it is whoever standing behind him is in danger since his weight will crush on that person's legs

Thats actually a good thought. Him attempting to jump and block he could land wrong or just as worse land on someones foot.

I think the whole league knows Yao's slow (movement wise). Therefore, when he takes a charge, he'll get the benefit of the doubt.
