    it's a little over 4 years old now, but i still play it occassionally.

    it's nice because the story is set before the events of the two movies, so it's not just a replay of one of the movies.

    Pyschonauts. The whole cast of kids from Whispering Rock and their teachers made me laugh. One of my favorite parts of that game was going around and listening to the conversations people were having and reading the notes they left on the message board.

    I head that was true of the vivi in KH but he was a badass in FFIX and his anxiety about mortality created a nice character arch in one of the more underrated FF games.

    Master Chief/Cortana ...separately they may be lacking, but together they're pretty memorable

    Solid Snake

    Gordon Freeman ...if only he wasn't a ghost though

    Kratos

    Lara Croft ...more eye candy than anything

    Tommy Vercetti ...one of the funnest characters to play; would be nothing though w/o Ray Liotta's voice

    Ryu Hayabusa ...completely one dimensional but who cares, he's a ninja that leaves a trail of blood and limbs in his wake
