I wouldn't mind his cash, but he can keep his life.

Oh yeah, he can keep his life.

The cash and the life go hand in hand.

Thats my point. Everyone here that takes the time to bash him over and over and get all riled up, never accomplish anything. You think he cares that some idiot he will never meet thinks he is a loser.

How many losers are 29 years old, have made hundreds of millions of dollars, have a private jet, shoe endorsements, and played basketball as their only job ever.

Financially he's successful. In basketball terms he's a loser. Success in one sphere of your life doesn't automatically translate into success in every other aspect of your life. T-Mac's the perfect example of that.

Frankly, I could care less how many endorsements he has or what kind of car he drives. I'm a basketball fan so what matters to me is his performance on the court--the basketball portion of his life. And in terms of playing b-ball McGrady's a head case, he's a loser, and it kills me to think that there was any chance that he could have been shipped out last off-season for Billups.

Yea my ass you wouldnt trade lives with Tmac.

I mean, Tmac is merely a multi millionaire who has gotten to play basketball in front of thousands of people on a nightly basis. But of course, he has to endure hundreds of people he doesnt care about or will ever meet, calling him a p***y on a message board, for not coming back from his surgery and playing hard.

Surely it does not have the luster of your life. Being an old geezer who claims to be a Rox fan, that gets to work a regular job and has what, maybe 100k in the bank. Of course you have the admiration of fellow geezers at the YMCA who watched you return from your knee surgery to resume pick up basketball a couple times a week. You are a warrior in every sense of the word my friend.

By the way, Im 31 years old, so by all indications I am an adult. If I had one shot to be DD or Tmac, Im gonna think long and hard, but probably choose the latter. I mean, I would have picked being DD, but its too hard to have to backtrack and change my opinion all the time once Im proven wrong.

How about one shot at being yourself? I assume what DD meant is that he's got his own life and he's happy living it.

And like I said, I'd like T-Mac's money but so far as his life goes, meh. He's obviously got his own set of problems and frankly I'd rather not have to deal with his moodiness and what seems to border on depression.

I dont quite understand how you can say in basketball terms he is a loser. He has currently scored more points then all but 72 people who have ever played in the NBA. So no, in basketball terms, he is not a loser. Jonathon Bender, Nikolis Tskitishvili, Sam Bowie, Darko Milicic, those guys are losers in basketball terms.

You can say he has never won a playoff series and that is what matters, but I call bull ****. What matters is championships. You think anyone is going to say Karl Malone never won a title but he did win a bunch of playoff series? So would it be nice if Tmac wins some playoff series. Absolutely. But at the end of his career, I guarantee he will have as many if not more titles then Karl Malone, Charles Barkley, Dominique Wilkins, Patrick Ewing, and John Stockton.

That bit about the females is what's gotten T-Mac in trouble in the past.

You said before, one aspect of your life doesnt equate to another. So what makes you think Tmac is moody and depressed in his personal life. Why do you imagine he doesnt have a great relationship with his wife and kids. You think he goes home after games and sulks about how fans will react to his performance?

Im not saying DD doesnt have a great life. I have a great life too. But because a bunch of people here bash Tmac for his heart and effort, you think somehow that means he doesnt live an incredible life as well.

Why is he a loser? Is it because he has not won any Championships. Well its not his fault that he had bulls**** players on his Orlando team. I guess it is his fault that his team sucked balls during games. I do believe that he lost some of desire to play but at least he brings his superstar self to playoffs.
