    ...that Rockets bought for Yao."

In Wang Meng's recent blog entry, he covered a couple trifles took place in the locker room related to Deke and Yao.

    http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_5c4bb2910100bu2j.html?tj=1

Peak signed Deke and just sent him the tailor-made shoes. Deke showed Yao the shoe (before the Knicks game) and mocked Yao a bit. Deke told Yao to better play well in the Knicks game and said Yao's is awful in the OKC game the other night. Yao then asked, "What's the size of your shoes, is it size 50? Oh no, 50 is your age."

Later Deke found that the shoes didn't fit well so he told Yao, "I got to call my Chinese friends, it doesn't fit well after my foot is strapped.". Yao replied, "You know, it's no big deal. It's not like you are going to get any play time on the court."

Deke sighed while putting on his old shoes, "See how these youngsters had become. They never give me any good time and make fun of me any chance they got." He then returned the fire towards Yao, "Yao, you know why I don't need to play, I am the insurance, the insurance that Rockets bought for you. You know what's an insurance, don't you? You don't use it when nothing happened. Some days when you fall into foul troubles, you'd know how much you need the insurance." Others in the locker room laughed and Deke added, "Our recent opponents weren't tough, see when we meet Shaq, you'd know it's my turn."

They should've put his face or his elbows. That would kick ass.

"Ooh baby...Gotta get me some Deke's Peaks." Hilarious!

Mutombo is just what the Rockets' locker room needs right now.

And thanks for the translation job, freemaniam. Much appreciated.

It's unimaginable before there're heaps of Rockets signing with Chinese shoe manufacturer and get their own shoes with their numbers on it.LOL.I've seen Chuckwagon's shoes,if I remember correctly,it's LiNing?Anyway, they ain't bad though.

Overall, that shoe is terrible, but the finger wag makes up for it.
