On the other hand, if you look at it like Rudy T did, by subtracting home losses (4) from road wins (12), (12 -4 = 8) the Rocket's would be tied with the Lakers. Funny how every year the schedule is so favorable for the Lakers in the early months. So far, the Lakers have have played 21 home games (19-2) and only 14 road games (10-4), (10-2 = 8)

Kobe will shot alot, just like Tmac.. with shane guarding him, alot of the shot will be miss.. so, Rockets have to prepare for the rebounds..if they can protect the board, then Rocket will have a good win.

Are we certain that Shane is acutally playing?

He will be rusty, and I doubt rick will play him heavy minutes against Kobe.

If Tmac plays with his legs,I think we can take the Lakers.

I only worry about Fisher outplaying Rafer, or that POS Sasha flopping all over the place.

That being said...I'm calling the Rox by 4.

 

Fisher outplaying Rafer, that has never happened and will not. Sasha will be flopping. I am more worried about ARIZA that guy plays D and hustles.

If Grady plays he won't get 20 pts. He never really has a good game vs Kobe, but hopefully he can get his assists. Yao should have a good game and Scola needs to contain Gasol. If Gasol is off and Kobe gets his pts, Rox will win. Brooks will go off

 

You can do the math whatever way you want, but at the end of the season, it is losses that really matter. That determines whether you're in the playoffs or sitting at home.

the lakers' defense isn't that good. we have to score to keep up with them. they just hae too many weapons offensively for us to solely rely on our defense

Phil Jackson typically never doubles Yao, so I expect a dominating performance over Byenumb.

Too bad Artest is out because he's always played well against the Fakers.

If Tmac is not sitting out, he'd better be ready to have a rough time with Kobe defending him.

I agree, it is up to our defense. Can we stop them. You can contain Kobe, but he can also dish and he has teammates who can knock it down. If we come out ready, with good energy, we can win. If we show the defense we played against Boston or NY, we will probably win.

And hopefully T-Mac will accept the challenge.

Even though I'm negative that Rockets gonna crash and burn if we don't bring out the energy,intensity and focus on playing defense,we got no chance at winning this ball game.

I hate to believe we're so fallin' behind and not even close to the Lakers,but what I do believe is we still can beat em with our suffocating defense and high energy on the floor.

And T-Mac?Go back home and sit before the idiot box,staying tune and watching Fox Sports Houston to be a cheerleader at home for the Rockets,don't bother comin' down the locker room and bench on the courtside.

We're gonna win if we play hard,but with McGrady,we gonna lose by large margin.
