Von Wafer's drive and dish are so reminiscent of healthy T-Mac.

I say we go with Von as starting SG until T-Mac is fully healthy. If T-Mac cannot regain his explosiveness in his knee this season, keep him on the bench and let Von Wafer get his minutes.

If you want to call TMac a joke (and rightfully so), then you better start including Artest in that discussion. Just because he plays hard (when he actually plays), doesn't make him immune to criticism. I'm sure most people will take his "njury report" with a grain of salt, but he's just as bad as TMac this season. A leader........lol, you have to be kidding me. Even at 100% Ron isn't a leader. He never will be.

Good game by a bunch of players who actually care

I was Glad Luther didn't get to shoot the ball. Adleman should have put Deke in for the remaining 2 minutes.

Knicks is officially beyond bad after tonight's game, how many teams have we blown out this season? It's not like we ever blown out the Thunders or beat Wizards or something. :p

Good win. I am glad Rafer responded to the fans remarks over his bricking. He has improved his shots int his game but he still need to practice more. Now Battier must be missing his shooting practice for this game.

The Rockets also beat New Jersey by 20 + this season.

As for the game tonight, the offense looked very stagnant for the first seven minutes or so of the second quarter, but they went on a good scoring drive to close out the half.

After the half, the team really looked like it had started to gel nicely. I couldn't believe when Rafer missed the layup with no one around him, but he redeemed himself with his above average play for once in the third.

Also, it was good to see Yao get a full quarter of rest in the fourth. Hopefully he'll be ready to bang (no homo) with Bynum & Gasol in the paint come Tuesday.

    t-mac sucks, plain and simple.
Even he got 26 pts yesterday, his +/- was -4.

Without him, Rockets are playing much better at this stage.
Sit him until he is fully recovered.

    the difference is
he was playing on a bad ankle and actually helping
tmac was playing and doing alot of nothing but standing around.
    except his last game

    it suck that hes out
it really does but i dont think hes gonna get as much bashing as tmac does
well at least i hope not
as far as being a leader
he seems like he can be a great leader
but we dont need all the vets trying to be leaders either
but he can take over a game like a leader IMO

How did Battier look tonight? I didn't see the game, but saw him in the box score.

We will need both HEALTHY T-mac and the Tru WArrior to go DEEP in the postseason and u can trust me on that. No one, i mean NO ONE on this team can create a DECENT SHOT for himself except t-mac. AB just maybe the only one who can create the OPPORTUNITY like he did against the BOSTON but do u really think that will work better than T-mac's? I don't think so. T-mac can create both a shot or dishes it out anytime he wants when he's healthy. He's lengthy and tall which gives him the advantage to dump off a pass to anyone out there. Compare to AB where he only has quickness, i would have T-mac get the ball within the last couple of seconds anyday (when he's healthy). We will also need Ron as well because he is the type of player where he can create a mismatch in any game. On top of that, he's one of the best 1v1 defender in the league right now. You basically can't ask Shane to guard the likes of Kobe, LBJ, Dwade and Melo for 48 minutes because they will be too tire for the next game in the postseason. Having them two sharing the minutes will help them sustain the energy for the next game. Von and AB are great both great energy sparks but Von still lacks the defensive skills to D up the elites(which he's improving but it's still not quite there yet) and AB will often get stuck driving if you don't put the right players around him. Therefore we WILL NEED BOTH OF THEM TO BE HEALTHY by the postseason IF THE ROCKETS ARE TO AIM FOR GO DEEP in the playoff. If you are gonna rely on AB and VON then it will just be another first round exit. What we really need right now is for Mac to get healthy so he won't be a defensive loophole. Also we will need Ron to integrate into this offense because he often seems too out of sync with the team when he's out there. That's my 2cent.
