See how deaf his left ear is, probably can't hear anything at all.

I heard somewhere that it is a little difficult for a person with only 1 ear to keep a good balance. Can anyone confirm?

He's 7'6 and more agile that you should be at that height. That is why he falls often.

Err I think it's because he's sooooo tall that his sense of balance is not as good as shorter players.

Maybe he falls down a lot because he's tackled a lot.

Poor core strength, poor balance. If you take a man that size and his feet are 4" apart, a little kid can knock him over. if you take that same man and bend his knees and spread his feet proportional to his size, that's a immovable object.

Yao can probly hear alil bit in that ear, but the arena is loud so it would be harder for that guy to tell him something in his left ear, thats probably why he toldhim to talk in his good ear, i thnk he can hear out of it tho

it is absolutely true that equilibrium and the inner ear are directly correlated...

Yao's brain has long-since made up for his lack of hearing in one ear. The brain is amazingly plastic. Why do you think people that are completely deaf can walk without falling all over the place?

While balance does have much to do with the inner ear it does not mean just because someone is deaf that they ALSO have the balance problems.

There can be many issues that cause deafness.
