i just read the road to dallas about the assasination. i think it was definitely a mob hit due to the crackdown on the mob and anti-castro people's feelings that kennedy wasn't doing enough to oust castro. lee harvey oswald tried to get into cuba via mexico in september of 1963 presumably to assasinate castro. when that didn't work, the speculation was that he was ordered to go on to plan b which was jfk. to me, the most interesting part of it was what oswald was doing in the minutes after the assasination. what led up to the confrontation with the cop he killed? had that not happened, it's believed he was going to be flown to mexico by the mob and then killed there. instead, they had to enlist ruby to do it a couple days later.
yeah there's nothing new to the theory that the Mob was involved with the JFK assassination, or that New Orleans mobster Carlos Marcello ordered the hit...
I was once convinced it was a conspiracy. After much reading and watching a alot of documentaries, I am not quite convinced otherwise. Oswald acted alone w/ alot of ineptness helping along the way.
