Alcohol: When I was about 10, my brother threatened to shoot me with a pellet gun if I didn't drink the screwdriver he made. I didn't touch alcohol again until I was about 16 when I sneaked a shot of Skyy while my parents were out. I didn't actually get drunk until I was 18, off of Wild Turkey. Drugs: mar1juana at 16, in my friend's garage with him and his brother-in-law with some apparatus made out of a bike pump. I enjoyed it the first few times I did it, but eventually it just gave me headaches and paranoia, so I can probably count on my fingers the number of times I've smoked. Ecstasy at 18, did it twice and really enjoyed it, but the withdrawal I felt for weeks after the second time convinced me to never do it again. Sex: When On my 19th birthday, this girl that had crush on me and I got really hammered and were going to and got terribly far into foreplay before I puked for about an hour and then passed out. I didn't actually lose it until a about 9 months later. She wasn't a virgin, so suffice it to say it was a rather humbling experience.
Drugs, Pot and the first time I did not even get high Sex, first time was pretty good. I lasted for a while and she also blew me Drinking, the first time I got "drunk" was pretty fun but I had some rough one's after that All 16 years old
Drugs: -mar1juana (a lot for several years, used much more than any other drug... first time smoked it on a crushed beer can with friends around sophomore year in HS, it hit me the first time after some delay... toward the end of my years of drug use, in college, was almost exclusively smoking kind bud which was readily available in hippie Vermont, shwag was almost nonexistent) -acid (probably 50 times, mostly paper, liquid a couple times... stay away from this stuff if it's not too late... wicked drug) -shrooms (best hallucinogenic drug, imo) -coke (can make you a really unstable person, short highs, very addictive) -hash (smoked a lot of it, different kind of high, similar to mar1juana but stronger) -ecstacy (good ecstasy gave me the most euphoric high of any drug, first time was at a friend's house, anything you do on good escstasy is incredibly fun... sex on ecstasy is enhanced, did it a few times but ultimately you could be reading a dictionary and having fun on good x... lots of variation in the quality and makeup of this drug when I was using it over 10 years ago) -heroin (only a few times, smoked with mar1juana one time, mixed with some ecstacy pills, never used a needle) -mescaline (one time, fascinating experience, was tripping for over a day, euphoric/trippy) -opium (one time, on top of mar1juana, euphoric) -almost smoked crack once but resisted - I grew up in the northeast, not sure how much that is a factor... I'm interested to know if teenagers in Texas are/were as exposed to drugs as I was since I didn't grow up down here... I had a lot of friends that tried a lot of stuff, not many went as far as I did... and I played soccer competitively all the way through HS... getting too caught up in partying and girls prevented me from playing in college Alcohol: some time early in high school... the first several times were before we could drive, just me and my friends in one of our basements drinking until we puked Sex: 17, long time girlfriend from HS through early college... sex is always good
-not sure if nitrous (balloons) would be considered a drug but also did that quite a bit at parties and concerts
explains your rockets posts!! i have a friend that went to syracuse and the drugs he's done completely pale my experimentation and mirror yours in many ways.
I couldn't believe that some employers do searches like this. They even search people's MySpace and Facebook. Just crazy.
The one time I was offered crack was a weird experience. It was about 8 years ago. I was staying with my girlfriend at the time at her mother's place in Oklahoma. We got in an argument about something and I went for a walk. I passed by a little house party a few blocks away. I ended up drinking a beer with some random people on the front lawn. A little later, I was in some room smoking a joint with a few dudes and a girl. They pulled out a crack pipe and started smoking it. They kept trying to get me to try it but I wouldn't. If it had been a few years earlier, when I was still using a lot of stuff, I probably would have done it. One of the stranger aspects of that experience was that the father was home and actually walked into the room while the girl was hitting the crack pipe. He looked like Larry the Cable Guy and didn't give a crap about what was going on. He said something to his son about work and left the room.
well i'm pretty sure everyone here has taken some sort of aspirin or ibuprofen, which are considered drugs.. so everyone has done drugs!!
Why is that crazy? When you are investing a lot of money and time into a potential employee, it would be irresponsible not to perform reasonable due diligence.
I agree. Put yourself in the employers shoes. Don't you want to know as much about your future employee as possible - whether he's a responsible guy or not? While I don't think anybody is going to get caught up on the fact that you smoked mar1juana at 14, had your first booze at 16 and threw up all over your pants, and had sex in your parents basement at 12...there are some things they need to look out for. It's crazy looking at some people's myspace pages (especially if its the first thing that pops up if you Google their name) and seeing their drunk pictures and crude conversations/messages...I definitely see a point of researching an individual on the internet before hiring them.
Is this reasonable? At what point do people have private lives? We've turned into a nation of robots.

Hahaha Top thread. ALCOHOL: the first time I ever got drunk I was climbing lamp posts and pole dancing on street signs. SEX: Basically fell into my gf's vayjay vayjay. Then had a pregnancy scare from it. It lasted about 1-2mins. Go easy, it wasnt as if it was planned. Good times.
wow thats crazy.. i went to an all black school so the only thing i was really exposed to was maryJ and handle bars.. wasnt till i started working at AstroWorld were i found out about shrooms, hash, purple haze, X, footballs, butterflies, and a skittles pack (a bag with about 7 or more different pills) cuz alot of my coworkers did it. just in case you didnt understand why the games and ride attendents were so friendly i was in high school then too. all the other drugs..as seen on TV..unless you wanna count second hand smoking.
