Wow this kid is really something.....he plays for the Pacers, i don't know if many people know who he is, but he really is turning into a star player for the Pacers. He won the game last night against the Suns when he made a three with 0.9 seconds remaining..... He scored 37 against the Suns 36 against the Nuggets 35 against the Kings I am thinking....hmm....i dont want to say it cuz i'll get bashed but he is 6'8 and he is consistent and he doesnt get hurt often and he plays hard =)
he has been a fantasy league surprise. he has always been good but the lack of talent on the Pacers has allowed him to really shine. Plays hard?...if i recall correctly...he's the guy who got his tooth knocked out during the game and was back on the floor in no time. An actual knock out unlike the false tooth of Carl Landry from last season.
I watched him a lot at New Mexico and knew he would be a solid pro... even thought he slipped a little in the draft. But I wasn't expecting this. For the record, here's who was picked in front of him... 1 MIL Andrew Bogut 2 ATL Marvin Williams 3 UTA Deron Williams 4 NOH Chris Paul 5 CHA Raymond Felton 6 POR Martell Webster 7 TOR Charlie Villanueva 8 NYK Channing Frye 9 GSW Ike Diogu 10 LAL Andrew Bynum 11 ORL Fran Vasquez 12 LAC Yaroslav Korolev 13 CHA Sean May 14 MIN Rashad McCants 15 NJN Antoine Wright 16 TOR Joey Graham 17 IND Danny Granger
I saw the replay. Gross! Both of his front teeth literally shattered and there were tiny pieces spread out on the court. I couldn't believe it. Landry's event was not that big a deal because it was one false tooth that got knocked out. Granger came up in another thread yesterday. The Pacers just signed him long-term to a huge extension. He is the definition of untouchable.
agreed. theyre rebuilding and out of nowhere comes this cornerstone. counldnt have worked out any better for them.
The only player I'd take before him is CP3 and maybe Deron Williams. Heck I might even take him before CP3.
http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=156307 just throwing that out there for more responses on granger's season
lol the guy is quickly becoming the 2nd best SF behind Lebron James. Actually, I honestly think he is the 2nd best small forward all things considered. His improvements have been off the charts year by year and he's turning into a legit superstar. The guy reminds me of a young Mcgrady except with a better build and a bit less natural talent. Don't get me wrong CP3 is the best pg in the game and many would think I'm crazy for possibly taking Granger above him but I'm fascinated by tall, athletic, swingman who have smooth complete games.
no way, not chris paul! well, unless your team is needing a 6'8 (taller) dude... if you are the rockets and you're stuck with rafer alston, and you have a pick, i'd take christ paul because he can dish to yao all day.....and score...
