This thing about if Battier is with the team doesn't mean anything. Battier is OUT while tmac played yesterday of course he would come with the team. He will play on the next game so its pointless to go home. It's so sad that it has come to this, I would think tmac wouldn't have someone call him out like that and that he would eventually step up. Tmac probably just likes to prove people wrong, hopefully he will. He is really pissing me off though.

A winner would take that as a challenge and motivation.

We'll see who has the last laugh.

I believe that Shane's foot swells some during flights, otherwise he would travel with them when he's not playing.

The interesting point is T-mac watched the Toronto game himself and he was disgusted. I'm starting to really lose my patience with him to be honest. Its do or die time now. Yao needs to put his foot down on Tracy and tell him, enough is enough mate, your better then this.

[QUOTESometimes Tracy thinks his talent is going to take him. He can just cruise his way. But we got to work hard. Tonight, we worked hard.[/QUOTE]

    Tmac should wake up.

lol yeah... i just checked.. something is wrong.. drama has started already eh?

Reiterating for the benefit of clutchfans...

    Artest says...

"We sometimes forget that hard work is more important than talent. Last year, Boston had hard work and they had talent. That's why they ran through everybody. I think we're just as talented, but we have to work hard. Sometimes we think Yao is just going to bail us out all the time, or me or Tracy are going to bail us out. Sometimes Tracy thinks his talent is going to take him. He can just cruise his way. But we got to work hard. Tonight, we worked hard."

Someone has to confront Jonathan Feigen and ask him why he removed that part.

Tracy always needed a motivator (Sura) or a motivation (Yao go down) to play his best, he is not a leader and he will ever be. I hope with Artest he finally find a new motivator.

    GO ROCKETS!!!

A true leader will always listen, review his action, adjust as needed and lead by example. If TMac resents Ron's calling out and still sulks during games, he's definitely not a leader and he needs to go.

don't read so far into it. he was merely saying, tracy is hurt, but he is a talented player, however, his talent isn't going to win us a championship. we need hard work from everyone to win. you guys just want players to bash tmac so badly that you believe you need to read between every line. give it a rest...

tmac sucks, so washed up, worse player ever known to man, trade his sorry butt, i hate him....

i shall end every post with someone of the sort so that i can unjinx the hex i have put upon the rockets. crap, gotta unjinx the unjinx for the mega unjinx

    we suck?

I went to the Boston Herald site and decided to see how they spun it. They have the quote from Artest there, but they didn't bother putting the portion of the quote that seemed like a jab at TMac. As a matter of fact, they make it out to be a slap at the Celtics instead of what I thought was actually a compliment by Artest. lol! God bless journalism and the clowns it sometimes produces. :

It was left to noted hoop mind Ron Artest, who got in a couple of good whacks on Pierce before fouling out, to deliver yet another blow to the Green.

“Yao Ming is the best center in the league surrounded by some good players,” he said. “But sometimes we forget that hard work is more important than talent. Last year Boston had hard work and talent. That’s why they ran through everybody.”

    Ouch.

I completely agree. I would even say that Ron himself called to have the quote removed because he didn't want to stir up the negativity that the Rockets are already getting. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that T-mac is hurting physically, but we need to leave him to the team to see how they can lift him up mentally so that when he is ready physically, we can count on him to be one of our leaders especially during the playoffs.

Tracy might not be the most vocal person in the world, but he's a hell of a ball player when he's not hurting. Let's not give up on him yet when there's more then half of the season to be played and our win-loss record is still semi-respectable at 22-15. Anyways, it's far more important to mesh together towards the end of the season then it is now so we should try to be optimistic for a little while at least.
