One great game doesn't make a great team. I am proud of the effort tonight...maybe T-Mac should just stay out until he's near healthy.
We erupt after a loss, we erupt after a victory, it was a good win but a lot of the "doubters" had legitimate concerns with this team. The Rockets need to BUILD on this victory. Maybe this year's Philadelphia was last year's Philadelphia.
There is too many so called "rocket" fans who were already putting the rockets away in January, everyone who doubted this team does need to suck, if yall already gave up on your team then you ain't a true fan. when the game counts, these rockets are tough, we gonna make the playoffs and make noise, Artests attitude is what this team needs, he was physical tonight and that is what did it. Big Win, and superproud of my rockets.
This team has played Horribly for several weeks and deserved all the criticism they have received. I am glad they decided to play hard and play defense tonight, but if they go back to their lazy ways (with TMac) they will continue to lose. One game doesn't make a season, but it can help turn things around.
Sure this is a good victory. But we can't forget - the Celts have been playing terribly lately. Losses to the Knicks and Bobcats... Hopefully this gives us confidence, which it will. But the true test will be the LA game.
Whatever. I'm still a doubter and I'm still as much a fan as anyone else. Grasshopper, one victory does not make a season.
Hopefully we do keep this up. I hope Tracy was watching, that how you get it done. Morey must be jumping with joy after the depressed tone this morning.
I liked the win and I liked what I saw from some of the players but if you think 1 win in 5 games is cause for celebration you need to have your mom call the doctor tomorrow after she drops you off at school and have your prescription adjusted.
horrible thread, the celtics missed wide open shots like on 4 straight posessions when they were up by like 4 or 5 pts late in the 4th, the Rockets took advantage of that, but this could have easily gone the Celtics' way...
we beat a slumping team, woo hoo? Jk we played well enough to win this game, we could have easily lost it but we stuck it out and won. Here's to having our team play loads better so we can string up consistent winning streaks =D
One win doesn't make up for four (or more) losses. So, yes, I still doubt. But it is nice to get a win now and then.
