Good luck to Dorsey. He seem immature but likeable.

But where are all the "he will take Hayes' and Landry's minutes" guys at?

Dorsey with development can potentially be an upgrade over Chuck Hayes. A defensivly specialist who can finish. This is a guy wiht alot of work who can get 10 points a game just from offensive rebounds.

Seriously, it's time for us to stop overanalyzing the situation and let the better mind (*cough* signature *cough*) handle the reins. We picked Dorsey for a reason, let's see how it plays out.

on second thought i guess that makes your point stronger lol, yes perhaps he could do something if given the chance against nba talent, but he's got some things to work on before he will be useful, i don't care much for college basketball, so i never really saw him much, but i thought he was a big dunker. he doesnt play above the rim?

Isn't Alton Ford also on the team and pretty much destroying competition? His numbers should be better than dorsey's, so that doesn't make Joey's stats impressive at all.

Kyle Weaver got a similiar above the minimum deal but he was drafted several spots later than Dorsey. Weaver signed his contract around a month before Dorsey did. I think it could have Dorsey's agent pushing for the set market value at the time rather than Morey compensating for Landry's original contract.

Morey claims this guy was NBA ready so it's a mistake on his part for sure.

Now he needs to erase that mistake and move him for cap space since we have Deke for 1 more season anyways.

No way. No one will take him after he showed that lack of effort. These games in Orem, UT were full of scouts.

It must rub him the wrong way to be sent there thus thinking in advance after hearing GM talk how they feel he is NBA ready, again this is what concerns me about GM's and owners bumping elbows with players.
