... in the last 6 games: 11/53 from the field (3/23 3p) for 21 % with 2.5 apg and 2 topg. the rockets are doomed if both of their pgs have bad games at the same time.
He needs to stop the bricklaying and go back to what he's been doing all season, which is drive to the basket.
I never liked him. He reminds me of Mike James. SELFISH. He doesn't pass. he shoots. Shoots and shoots. It is getting pathetic. A team that wants to compete for a championship where the players do what they want? COme on! He was playing like we didn't have a coach. Just KEEP SHOOTIN'
dude is proving to be a ballhog and selfish player. he ignored tracy and yao so many times i wanted to slam the TV. this is even worse than mike james. rafer and brooks think they're gods under adelman and can do whatever they want.
Aaron Brooks has the same mentality of the other players. Just happens he has the ball alot as point guard and he's 5'-11". Some players brains just cant process shoot and pass distribution evenly. Tha
exactly. i mean rafer has those slumps as well but at least rafer gives you a couple of rebounds, some defense and a real pg who can run an offense even when he's in a shooting slump. what's brooks good for if he can't score? this shouldn't be a brooks bashing thread, though. he's probably the only rocket that has exceeded expectations so far this season. this shooting slump also won't last forever. my point is though that we need at least one of our pgs playing well as long as our big 3 aren't delivering. it's no coincidence that the rockets are playing especially poor in the last couple of games where both of our pgs really sucked at the same time. everybody is focusing on t-mac but basketball is still a team game.
Maybe he should talk to management about only playing one game of back to backs so he can get some rest and shoot better. I think Yao could average 14 boards a game if he did that. Landry could probably get 2-3 more dunks a game if he did that too. Tmac could be such a trendsetter.
It's at times like this I wonder if Steve Francis had anything left in the tank. I would be trying him out for a few minutes to see how he would respond. But alas, that's yet another ship that has sailed.
I have to agree with you on that. He did ingore both Tracy and Yao quite a few times. I mean it's not like Tracy or Yao are in bad postions. Something tells me it has something to do with RA and it was his decision to let Brooks be more aggressive and Brooks just used it as the 'penalty free' card and did whatever he wanted. Rafer did a fairly better job than him at this point.
Agreed. Overall, Brooks did well. I expect, however, at least one of our PGs is able to make the open 3s when our big 3s provide him chances in the crunch time.
