Looks like he might be out a while I never wish injury on anyone, but if he is out a while it helps the Rockets. DD
This stinks for the Nuggets. Sorry to hear this. They will still make the playoffs but it will be harder to win their division from Utah.
It sucks to have injuries, but at least other teams are starting to feel our pain. Boozer, Melo, etc. Definitely helps the Rockets if he's out for what I'm going to guess is several weeks.
I should have known on the night that they set the franchise record for best start that the basketball Gods would find a way to punish me. Ugh.
Hopefully JR. I'm not a fan of Kleiza starting. Overrated or not, any time you lose one of your team's top 2 players it's not a good thing.
If this was his non-shooting hand, I would say he would probably only miss a game or two, but since it's his right hand....that could prove costly. Still, I think the Nuggets can tread water while he's out, and when he comes back, get it going again. They have enough of a supporting cast with Kleiza, Smith, and Carter to not feel Melo's absence too badly. As long as they can play .500 ball while he's out, they'll be fine.
i also believe he is overated and when he was first in the league people compared him with Lebron.. now its not even close.. but with that said i would totally take carmelo over tmac now...
i take that back.. now that he is injured and out i wouldnt take him just now.. but you know what i mean...
true .. but thats a tmac at 50% giving 100% effort.. lately its a Tmac at 50% physically but only give 5% effort.... i was and i guess still am a huge tmac fan but so far its been dissapointing and very tiring watching him play..
I think Denver will be fine. J.R. Smith has seemed to get back into a rhythm recently, and he'll be able to produce solid offensive numbers during Melo's absence.
What exactly do you mean overrated, in what context? ...and do you really think the Nuggets will be playing just as good w/o him?
Let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if the Nuggets continue to win at the same pace over the next three weeks.
