I don't like him talking about his own past. Past is past. Although he had earned two scoring title, he needs to always keeps in mind that he doesn't have a ring, hasn't even led his team to the 2nd round of the playoffs. So his past is not that worthy of mentioning considering what a talent player he is. TMac, do it, NOW!
What really bothers me is Tmac continuously talking about his injury and knee surgery. If you're not 100% or fully recovered, sit out until you are!? ...Then come back and just play like you would everyday. I don't get this nonsense about playing only one back to back game and not being physically ready. Tmac needs to take the time that he needs so that him playing wont be a mystery every game. It's not fair to all the players and it sure won't help the team chemistry if theres always an inconsistency in the roster line up.
It looks like the criticism make sense, don't stop, keep doing it. ~~just a joke,I really hope T-MAC will do what he said.
He's hit rock bottom. Rocket insiders speak of an imminent trade, and ROcket loyalists want him run (or gingerly walked) out of town. Adelman wants him out, but Morey still sees greatness within. He sends the team stats showing McGrady still ranks among the NBA elites in terms of setting up his teammates despite being a shell of his former self. We now find ourselves at the ultimate crossroads. A much anticipated season on the brink. Arguably our greatest star, has fallen from the heavens and straight into the depths of hell. What shall become of our beloved Rockets and our fallen star? Will Deke's return and a hard fought loss in Atlanta be the turning point? So many questions, but so very few answers. I ask all of you to think about why you came to love this particular group of Houston Rockets. Was is so long ago that we fought as a collective force for 48 mins and 22 games straight? It seems like forever. Our pieces are greater, but the whole has been damaged. Lucky for us then that while we may bend, we are not easily broken. The key, as we all know, is McGrady. His play, abysmal thus far, will ultimately decide our season(if he stays on). I, for one, hope he does. We've all seen the Jamario Moon dunk, and the apparent lack of fire. So now he's emotional. He's frustrated and he's pissed off. Good. Sometimes it takes a punch in the nose to wake you up for the fight of your life. SHould it have come to this? No, but it has. Deal with it. I can't say much for Mac's play of late, but I can tell you this. If I had to bet on one Rocket, nay one player, to respond to the challenge; it would be him. He's been down and out, backed into a corner and now forced to respond. It is not too late for him or for Houston. Over the next few weeks we will see with our own eyes just how much McGrady cares about this team. Judge him not by his play so far, but by how he responds from here on out. I know it's a lot to ask, but everyone deserves the chance to right their wrongs.
I think most of us can agree that there's no way t-mac has fallen this far from just a few months ago when he was still playing elite basketball. the question is whether he's given up or whether he's still hurt. we're coming off a season where he led us to a 22-game win streak and an offseason where we added ron artest and essentially added yao ming. He was near giddy in off-season interviews. He hasn't been right since day one so while he hasn't been as alarmingly bad as he was in toronto, it doesn't really make sense that he would be unhappy with the organization or even want to be moved. that leaves us with him being actually hurt and currently unable to do what we think he should do. that's more plausible though it doesn't completely excuse some of the stinkers he's put up lately. i understand the frustration but you can't completely discount how good he was last season and how good he's looked the 2 or 3 games he felt right this season. I think if he can get rest he's clearly our best chance to win anything this season but he has no business being on the court right now. sit him out a month or even two if that's what it takes. I don't want to see another **** performance like that toronto game regardless of whether he thinks he was trying or not. I still believe he's an elite player but he's gonna have to shut up, sit out, and come back strong in order to convince the rest.

That or the fact that his "last laugh" will be him sitting at home eating potato chips while the Rockets pay him $20 million.
mann oh mannn. it actually feels good knowing he said that. now i know he will bounce back and lead this team.
Never take TMac's words seriously. When was the last time he "had the last laugh" after being criticized? Get real man. I would be happy to confess if TMac proves me wrong. Otherwise I still hope he's traded for Marbury's expiring contract.
I've been ragging on McGrady every time I mention him. But really I think if McGrady could he WOULD play at a high level. Yeah he's still favoring his injury WAY too much. Still why would player who's a top 10 scorer when he's healthy be content to put up 7 points a game?
The fans and reporters did the same thing at the same time last year. Remember BlindVery disowning the team then eating crow during the streak. Once this team adds a young athletic defensive 4/5 and Shane, Tracy, Artest and company get even 80% healthy we will go on a long run.
Would you rather have given the 20+ million to Steve Francis (the guy he was traded for) the last 3 year and counting.
We will see in the end whether T-mac will have the last laugh or the haters will have the last laugh! T-mac you better back up your words!
Well, It is a tough statment to every player, but actually he is pretty sure and he knows it is all wrong in his head. He isn't 100% but it will come, but as a player he HAS TO play hard. Hopefully he will now stepo up and end being that baby and start playin REAL basketball. With him playing well the team will follow and will see WINS. Come on T-Mac, just shut up and make it happen.
