Maybe I missed something here. Why is everyone trying to decipher the statement "back to where I started" or whatever... He was just saying he digressed. You guys really get ahead of yourselves reading into this stuff.
yeah I was kinda surprised by the way many people were trying to read so much into that post, but then again, I'm not really familiar with Doc's style, so I figured he usually gives off info in code like Pops used to do.. idk
As far as overanalyzing Doc Rocket's post I think people are bored with the off day and want some to dig a little deeper on a simple yet not so simple post from one of Clutchfans best known insiders...
I never thought that J.Colangelo would do something like that, but now that you mention it who knows he might be hoping to pair McGrady up with Bosh if he thinks that will help rejuvenate the former's career. I would rather prefer to trade McGrady in the next season for the 2010 FA sweepstakes but the Rockets management may be thinking getting J.O'Neal's expiring contract might improve team chemistry right now. I honestly don't know much about Jermaine, but I've never heard of him being a cancer. Ron felt that he should have gotten more shots while they were together in Indiana but things have changed now. J'ONeal is a shell of himself, while Artest is playing more within the team concept (at least for now). I'm not at all interested in having J.O'Neal on the Rockets though.
Pops didn't give info out in codes. Riddles and codes are more of Doc's style. I agree with you, people are trying to read too much into the post.
the funniest thing i heard was this morning on 610's adam clanton experience or whatever....if you're familiar with Tupac's famous "hit em up" song...Adam wondered what Tupac would say about Tmac if he did a song about him....then someone pressed the B-I-T-C-H button
Trade one injured knee away to bring in another. Only plus I see in this is the acquisition of Calderon.
what about bargnani? he's been a disappointment for a #1 pick, but he could be the big with range that would help spread the floor. would toronto be ready to give up on him?
