I don't think Rafer has a right to do that. Actully, since he was back to the starting line-up, the rockets has been playing terrible. The problem of the rockets is still about another playmaker. When Tmac is doubled or he is off, the rockets' offense is simply disorganized.
dig out the 2ot game in denver last year and watch the half-time show on tnt. "how's coach adelman's offense working so far, t-mac?" "so so, i guess. we don't know if we're a half-court team or a fastbreak team."
yeah no doubt.. the last person that should be called out is Ron.. he's played his heart out whenever he's on the court
Why? Playing hard does not automatically mean you're doing the right thing. Artest has not been playing within the flow of the offense, and that's what Rafer is talking about. We've seen it on the court as well -- at least one instance in which Rafer got in Artest's face after an offensive possession because he didn't do what he was supposed to do and tried to go 1-on-1 as usual.
I think Rafer should call out TMac and Yao. Everyone was giving Yao the ball against the Raptors and all he did was getting shoved when using nowadays his only weapon - post up game.. ..and of course loosing the ball or missing. It's no coincidence Rick kept him out of the game for so long in the 4th against the Hawks.
Alston is not a premier player in the league and I respect him for putting his butt on the line for this team. Any other profession and these guys would have been ripped by their work mates. WHY should someone who is doing so little get paid so much? Artest is a questionable attack but TMac knows better than the crap he is pulling and if TMac wouldn't do the same then he is definitely not the leader or example setter this team needs to be shelling out the dough to.
But playing hard and giving your all will buy you some love and patience from the fans. Raking in 20 million a year and half-assing it against the Raptors gets your ass called to the floor.
And this is coming from a guy who is part of the problem. Rafer Alston "The Brick Layer" has the same credibility and substance as the wall street crooks. We could have won the Atlanta game if it weren't for his bone headed last second play. Yeah sure he made some steals down the stretch, but it always evens out with Rafer " The Brick Layer" Alston.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJhrjhif8Mc Hey guys, doesnt that seem awkward that T-Mac was on the Eastern Conference team and Yao Ming was on the Rockets and Coach Adelman was coaching the West and he dropped 30 on them....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxin...feature=related Guys look at this video. This was in 2007 and he started this season very poorly due to his injury I believe. He also said HE just did not feel the same MENTALLY back then. After he felt great mentally, he stepped up his game and said he still had the same explosiveness. Hopefully, you guys respond to my message and think he is just mentally weak right now..
yeah im real curios where can he go? I mean like we know how San Antonio gonna respond but who else out there. Like # 2's
I wish T-Mac could play like he did in 05 where he was a good leader and yelling at yao to play better in playoff against Mavs. Anybody remember that? But now I don't know what's going with him because I haven't seen him give 100% this year and he doesn't have motivation to play at all. I wish we could get wade for t-mac
I challenge TMac to take his tampon out and bleed Rocket Red on the court. If he can't do that do that than go buy a dress and retire.
Rafer should call out his jump shot. I think it's hiding in his locker, or maybe in his hot tub. Grab a towel, Rafer and go find it, then come back and "call out" players who literally and figuratively tower over you. What a chump.
