No, booing your own players is classless.

stop it.....this isn't going to help tmac nor the team. Booing a p***y ass is only going to make him more fragile.

Actually, cheering everytime he touched the ball would look funny to me.

This guy has some common sense.

A 'We Need Tracy' chant is perfect. It sends the message that we know this isn't the 'real' Tracy Mcgrady and that we want the old T-Mac back.
I would be very pissed off if I heard an arena full of boo's, because it would be the loudest the Toyota Center has been all season. If there ha been on group of people with a terrible effort other than T-mac it is the Rockets fans at our home games.

I was expecting and hoping for a reply like this one (for the sake of irony) although I am disappointed that this forum is full of kids who want to baby a guy who is basically stealing from the Rockets.

In any other city McGrady would have been run out of town but luckily he landed in Houston where many people feel we should encourage him to earn his paycheck and gently persuade him not spit in the face of his team mates, the organization, the coaching staff and the fans.

If he plays with effort you cheer, if he quits again, you boo.

I think you should definitely boo Dave78. It would be nice to see the Toyota center not looking dead like usual on tv.

At the moment T-mac has no value on the trade market and regardless of the scrubs we could atain, it would leave us out of the Championship race. SO you do what you have to do untill his contract runs out.

The answer to this is simple. Don't start off the game booing, but if you see TMac out there dogging it yet again, boo your ass off. Straight out of the Knick fan playbook, and they're the masters of booing their own team.

Screw booing him at the Toyota Center, I'd like to roll up to his house in his car I just won off Ebay and boo him at his own home.

Wow. He was visually shaken by the response he got in Orlando. I take it back. I won't boo him. Even I won't kick someone who is that fragile.

If Rocket fans boo, we stoop down to the level of Orlando or Toronto fans....We'd actually be worse than them because Tmac is still in a Rockets jersey.

It's petty. T-Mac knows he's getting blasted by the media and fans. Booing him at home won't help matters any. It will just be a distraction for the team, and make our home court "advantage" even more of a joke than it usually is.
