i am by no means a "monster of the mid-day" fan... in fact, you could probably label me as a hater, but Ted DeLuca just went off on tmac's play from friday and i had a very hard time disagreeing with him... ted was geniunely pissed off by tracy's performance (or lack thereof) and by adelman's unwillingness to bench him and reprimand him on the sidelines. i haven't heard someone that pissed off on the radio in quite a while. this tracy situation is starting to get U-G-L-Y
I'm glad people are saying things. I'm also getting sick of people saying 'when they get healthy' because it's not about health anymore.
It's only going to truly get ugly if the Rockets organization or McGrady comes out and says something meaningful. Everything else will all go away if the Rockets start winning and McGrady starts playing well.
I am glad the media is doing their job and calling Tmac out, who does he think he is? Getting $21 million to loaf.....and the organization (on the surface) looking to be doing nothing. Hopefully Morey is on top of it, and is looking to move him....which could be the root of all this anyway. DD
T-Mac's effort is overblown. Media outlets are just cashing in on this because it's so hot a topic among fans. The Rocket just need to get healthly to immediately improve. To get that they might need to seek it out via trade. IMO any one of the three infirm players are good for that.
I agree with what you are saying. The media loves this. It creates ratings. The uglier they make it seem the better. But it's ugly. just not as ugly as they are trying to make it. Not yet at least.
He always hate on T-Mac because it give him rating. When T-Mac was putting tipple double the guy was quiet talking about football, but as son as T-mac play bad the guy is all over
I only listen to 790 off and on. I don't put too much stock in their opinions when it comes to the Rockets. It seems to me they only casually follow the team.
you're out of your mind if you think the rockets will trade tmac this year... his trade value is garbage right now, but will be significantly higher next year. i'd rather sit him for the rest of the year than ship him off
Those Dumb @sses and 790 hate the Rockets and love to get people buzzing about T-mac and drama with the team. It's all an attention grab by a houston sports station with 1 Houstonian. I won't fall for it. FAIL!
I personally listen to 1560 The Game. Rumor has it, Nuno & Hoffman just gave their opinion of TMAc too. Jus sayin no layups...
He is only playing because everyone starts talking bad about him. Then he gives his crummy effort and we all attack him. If what he has been doing lately is all he is capable of then the man should just call it quits for however long it takes to heal up till he is actually useful on the court.

I imagine these two conflicting views are causing quite a bit of teeth gnashing among management, the coach, and ownership. The Rockets cannot win a championship unless Tracy improves, but he might not bring enough talent in return to win a championship, either. I think most people on this board are vastly underestimating just how far his value has fallen. I'd be shocked to see the Rockets get a good player in return, unless that player has some serious baggage.
