I thought the Knicks would have folded when Pierce started to get hot in the 4th quarter. But instead, the Knicks kept moving the ball around and kept getting baskets. And Knicks' defense actually tightened up in the last few minutes.
I knew the Celts would hit the skids by January or early February at the latest and would not threaten the Bulls 72-10 record. The Celts are a great team but definitely not in the class of that MJ squad. They will eventually come out of it, go on a roll and finish with the NBA's best record. The Cavs will struggle a bit without Big Z and the Lakers just aren't mature enough IMO. If all of their players are healthy, I still say the Cavs will take down the Celts in the ECFs. The Celts are worse than last season and the Cavs have improved.
That means Celtics are not Gods of basketball. Anobody can beat them, you just have to play well and hard. Pierce is on FIRE but Garnett and Allen have been pretty awful, especially KG
