    Quick Fix:

Put Brooks back in the starting lineup.

Team was gelling with him starting, and had a good record with him starting. Rafer playing well for a few games is fool's gold. He can do that off the bench.

Brooks as a starter worked; if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

If it is broke, quick fix it. Now. Do it, Rick.

Problem is he's not as good at defending as Alston, notwithstanding the blown assignment on Bibby last night. With how bad our perimeter D is right now, we need Alston's D more than Brooks' O.

Ball movement or not, McGrady has a history of winning basketball games when playing. More so, our team has a history of losing basketball games when McGrady is not. From winning and losing standpoints, your theory sense no make.

if Tmac didn't see the floor the rest of the season and the Rockets didn't make the playoffs but played as hard as they played last night, i would be fine with it. if i have to watch another lifeless effort with Tmac loafing all over the floor, i may quit watching games this season(at least the ones Tmac plays in).

Tmac's effort is questionable, but nonetheless frustrating. His attitude is sluggish and his performance is unacceptable. However, you and I differ on the merits of our team. I still insist on negotiating of Mac being the key to our post-season success. Change is foreseen, but only by a few.

You believe he will play hard in playoff? I doubt it, especially it's his teammates make into post-season, not himself.

Thats probably because every time he plays the Rockets are really shorthanded.

Yes, Luther Head playes with a lot more effort than T-Mac, so he is much better in that regard.

    Agree.

With the whole team playing with heart, with great effort, with everyone actively involved in the offense/defense, the team will only gets better and finally they will find their way out, and start to win.

With T-Mac walking on the court, playing defense using his eyes, playing standing-still offense, the team can only get worse.

At the beginning of the game Bill Worrel said something along the lines of "Look how well the ball is moving on the offensive end, nobody is there holding the ball and stopping movement"

    Hint, hint ;)

Let's be honest here, when do you think he can play like his usual self? And when was the last time that he was able to play with 100% all season long?
Yes, I mean, all season long, with no one complaing about him being lazy on the court? People may complain about Yao not being able to get rebounds, blah, blah, Head's brainless turnovers, blah, blah, but when did you hear people complaining about them being lazy on the court? Well, people constantly complain T-Mac being lazy, and his laziness reaches an extreme and unaccetpable degree this year.

See Toronto and Washington just took out Orlando and Cavaliers.

They are playing so much better than their records, so we will be okay...

Money wise, we just had less than half a team that night. tmac+artest+battier is over 32M I think.

What makes the Cavs loss better is that Lebron was called for travelling at the buzzer. He still claims it was a bad call. The NBA may usually let guys get away with taking three steps, but it is still a travel.
