    NO.

I'm not going to flame you so let me give you a hopefully reasonable answer. These people are professionals and their business is to go out there and play. There are fans there who have paid to see them play and the NBA is a business.

Obviously the coaching staff has to make decisions regarding the health of the players along with decisions regarding what combinations of players will bring them the best opportunity to win so that might be understandable benching maybe one star to make a point but to bench all of your stars? I think that would be unprofessional and a disservice to your customers.

Finally to concede a regular season game in the middle of the season isn't just unprofessional but disrespectful to not only the fans but your opponents and the league in general. The Hawks might not on paper be the better team but that doesn't mean you sit your best players to teach them a lesson. As professionals and competitors themselves the Hawks deserve to face your best, just like the fans deserve to see your best, and the league deserves to know that on any given night all things being equal your team will field its best.

I read your post, it has to be one of the dumbest ever.
Why bench all 3? Just because Tracy is not putting for any effort? Yao and Scola have been our most consistent and thats pretty funny considering that many knock their style of play, being from the international markets and all.

Ron might not have great games ether but he gives it his all when he's on the floor and when games come down to the wire he does everything he can to impose his will on the game even if that means he go's away from the offense. I mean we have been excusing Tracy from going away from the offense and becoming a ball stopper, so why complain when Ron does it if he trying to do anything he can to win.

Tracy hasn't been doing anything but messing with his teammates head and messing with chemistry. He jogs from 3pt line to 3pt line, you never see any energy, he won't defend and even when he's passing, his arms are just kind of flinging the ball of like he almost doesn't even care. I'd send Tracy home to watch the games on t.v. and not invite him to practice with the team or even attend games with the team. I'd let him know the "give us a call when you get better" and drop him off at the next corner bus station.

Sorry but Yao and Ron are our only hope now, sitting them just doesn't make any sense, we still want to win and we can win without Tracy messing with our heads.

First of all, to the bold, seriously? 2nd grade called. They want their insult back.

Ron needs to sit out with his ankle. If he keeps hobbling on it to a losing effort, we won't get better anyway.

And what kind of effort was put forth by both Ron and Yao yesterday? I really do think sitting for one game will be worth it. Both resting themselves, AND thinking about the Boston game.
