Flame suit on. I'll give Tracy a pass for the lack of effort the last few days. Reason? I'm not the type to throw a guy under a bus when he's not 100% mentally or physically during a point in his career. The fading of a star is a sad thing to see when they are struggling to find a new identity in this league. During this transition, especially under injury, I think most players would show signs of lackluster effort, especially when your already getting blown out by the Raptors. You can call this another excuse or I'm a Tracy apologist, but hey, he was the only Rocket to show up in the previous 2 playoff series and gave everything when it mattered. Just for that, I'll reserve judgment on Tracy until the end of the 2009 post season.
I will give TMac a "pass" for another week and then if he still shows clear signs of not caring one bit on the court during his minutes then its time to go to plan B.
Actually, Tracy showed up as much as Yao in the Jazz series two seasons ago. Both were to blame for that horrid loss.
I salute you OP, for standing on this time of T-Mac bashing. Great courage. I personally am unhappy with T-Mac quitting last night, but I'm gonna wait to the end of the season before I bury him. Right now I don't care what it takes to right this ship, but the Rockets need to get it right very quick.

MacLazy showed no effort in rehabbing his knee over the summer so to me he quit on the team before the season even started. His efforts the last week have been abominable. This guy has lollygagged himself to being a detriment to the team. When Tslack quit on the team, he quit on the fans too.
