I am a season ticket holder for the first time. I saved 1800 to spend on the rockets because i really believed that this team is worth seeing. And like thousands of other fans we pay alot of our hard earn money on merchandise and tickets just to promote our team. The sad news is that we are all some how struggling with the economy and so when we pay the high prices for tickets and merchandise, it comes at a higher price than usual in these hard economic times.

Who in here can go to work explaining they have a hurt knee and tell their bosses they are only going to work a few days out of the week and take a few days off on a few days each week for the rest of the year?

Who in here can do so poorly at work and still get paid without being fired?

Who in here can afford to even loose time off from work and still pay their bills?

Who in here can has a contract to be employed for years and still be paid without question?

Who in here can have fun at work and be a role model at the same time?

Not many of us can say yes to all of these questions. So when someone like Grady gives up on the team, he also gives up on all of us who pay to see this team with the little money we have. We all surely do not get paid near what he does. And i am sure he doesnt have to worry about his job at times like these. So when he gave up last night and uses excuses all the time, he spits in the faces of the fans....

    DONE.

Yes I was a season ticket holder also, back in I think it was 05'-06' it was the year we had the allstar game. I gave up $3000 for some nice tickets and was a Rockets sponsor that year. We didn't make the playoffs and with all the work I didn't get to attend as many games as I wanted so I gave out alot too my friends. Anyhow The Roxs sucked so I didn't feel the need to buy anymore at that price I figured I'd buy just one game at a time.

The thing that irked me that year was that I'd do jobs for the Roxs in local communities for the families and Rockets players would make guest appearances. I asked the Rockets contact "who would be showing up that day?", she said David Wesley. I said "where's Tracy? Do you think he'll show up?" She said "No, he doesn't like to be asked tough questions." My thoughts were what a loser, but I didn't say anything.

This was my experience with the Roxs, Tracy and season tickets. I'll never buy or be a sponsor while Tracy is around, he's just a loser. As a matter of fact Tracy doesn't deserve to win a championship, even if he rode in on Yao and Ron's coattails.

The fans should pick a game and boycott the lack of effort....send a message...instead of "Save our Rockets" ..."Boycott the quitter"

I'm a first time season ticket holder this year myself. I feel your pain. I dropped a 'modest' $1500 and have been furious about the lack of effort and consistancy I've seen this season. At this point, I don't care that we don't win a championship. I'd like to as a long time fan but as a paying season ticket holder I just want to see the team I'm financially supporting play with effort, consistancy and heart. I can live with our loses if those three criteria are met.

It has been especially tough being a fan with what I've seen this year from McGrady. I figure a good % of what I have paid for my tickets is going to him and frankly, if something doesn't change with him or the organization doesn't fix this 'problem', I can guarantee that I won't pay for season tickets next year.

Grady makes $1,800 in about 15 seconds of play.

He has a selfish personality and that explains his lack of being a leader in terms of being able to lead a team through teh playoffs. Tracy is just a Scottie Pippen type of player without the consistent effort.

C'mon now, basketball or any other professional sport is not your average everyday job. You don't have to work in front of 20,000 people or deal with the pressure of an entire city. We don't get heckled by fans or customers in this case or get ripped in newspapers. And of course, the paycheck is nothing like anything else  . I know what you're trying to say, but I just don't think its fair to compare us regular folks to these drama queens we call professional athletes. Remember, T-Mac is not the only one like this and he definitely won't be the last.

I began to see why fans are upset, but I still think our players are more upset to lose than fans. Cause it is his job, if he fails, he ends up with nothing but money. But even if the team loses, we fans still have our life, our job and lots of other things to show our value.

Well, if T-mac is intentionally doing this, and he does not feel bad about losses, then I don't know what to say. If so, he should not play as professionals any more.

Who in here is one of the very few people in the ENTIRE WORLD that can do what he does? Because, if you are, you can get away with stated there.

No offense, I agree that T-Mac is an f'n p***y that's screwing the fans, but still, these kind of everyman comparisons come off a little ridiculous.

I still have no clue why people continue to compare a basketball player and an average working person in terms of how to deal with an injury.

ah, the fire is so out of control. we don't have enough fire engines. all i can do is call the headquarter.

oh the hijackers have more firepower and i've only got a handgun, what do you want me to do?

errr, this is possibly a cancer. i'd say it's hopeless. get up and go home now.

so is this the first year that everything the op posted has been true? no, sports has been like that for years. quit whining, no one forced you to buy tickets. if you're fed up with them, quit watching, sell your remaining tickets and pick something else to do with your free time. whatever you do, and this goes to the rest of you, quit making stupid analogies comparing nba players to those of us with regular jobs. it makes you look dumb.

I believe the NBA is in decline, and I think big $$$ guaranteed contracts have been a major contributor to that.

i feel bad for you guys... I am a huge rox fan... I used to listen to all the game on audio league pass. I don't even know when / who they are playing anymore. Sux when you have invested thousand of dollars in advance.

I know I should say what we could have done.... but I wish we traded grady for anyone last year.
