I think the perfect sg for this team would be Wade , Lebron, Rip Hamilton

Guys who play like team players but know how to carry their teams on their bac on bad shooting nights by going to the basket and playing D all of the time.

You know, Defense follow the ball.
T-mac control the ball before, so he is doubled more often. Yao's job is just catch the ball and put into the basket. In fact, everyone will hesitate whether to double a no ball runer or not. This make Yao get points easier.
Now, RA ask Yao to handle the ball and deside to shoot or pass. People know where is the ball, then they do double Yao constantly.

That's true. People like to discount players putting up numbers on a struggling team, but its harder to score when everyone is focused on 1 guy. The team didn't win, but Yao did his part. I think the toll of the endless summers are a bit much to ask of him. I also don't think it really helps his game by not playing against big strong guys on a consistent basis. I think he can play at his 30 dominant game,30 so-so game, 20 sucky game path for a few years.

I think more than any other player, Yao misses and needed Thibodeau the most.

Yao has clearly regressed under Adelman and Sikma.

Rip Hamilton would kill playing with Yao in an Adelman offense.

But then, so would a healthy, happy Tracy McGrady.

I can't remember if it was last season or the season before but he started out dominant and stayed dominant up until he got injured. I remember reading an article where he was leading the MVP race and another where he was definitely top 3. He was putting up 25/10 or something like that; before the injury in whichever season that was he was at his best imo. He still hasn't gotten back to his old dominant self this season. :(

Agreed. Yao IS the best Center in the league when he isn't playing fast pace

style of basketball. Yao is a true Center who needs a good playmaker to draw

the D to the playmaker then he(playmaker) passes off to Yao where it makes 1

on 1 Center on Center then its a for sure 2 points 90% of the time!

    Example:
