Well the Hawks currently have an impressive home record of 14-2, so I don't see much of a reason why the Rockets will beat them down, when they just got manhandled by a lesser team in Toronto. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see much changing between tonight's game and tomorrow for the Rockets. Yao will likely have trouble scoring on another smaller center in Al Horford, and Ron Ron will have his hands full having to guard Joe Johnson without Battier there. If the Rockets do manage to conjure up a decent game, it will have to be because the guards actually come to play. Alston, I have little faith in, but I'm hoping that AB & Von Wafer will get a good amount of PT to try and add some spark to this lifeless unit.
I thought artest was supposed to be our distraction this season but it has turned out to be twhack this time around with his attitude and play on the court. I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing when I seen jmoon go around tmac for the dunk while tmac just watched. Simply ridiculous.
I really want to see what happens when the team plays without Mac. If they come out and play the same way they've played these past few games, its more than just McGrady. Only time will tell.
as much as i am pissed with tmac now, hes not the only one whos playing like crap. i just dont see how not having him will make his teammates play better.
Bull****, He has no heart, soul, passion, integrity, will, or respect. He is ****ting all over the Rockets organization, fans and old ex-Rockets like Dream and Moses and The Big E that gave it everything they got every night for the city of Houston. Addition by subtraction....
Sigh...no big win but I like how the Rockets competed today. But this loss...unless a miracle happens, say goodbye to "championship contender" and "Laker-killer". It's mildly depressing because I'm thinking down the road that if we continue like this, we have no chance of resigning Ron Artest and McGrady may have just become a 20 million role player and Yao is no longer dominant and... I mean, man, Ron Artest was saying "without question, me, Yao and Mac, anything less then a championship is a failure!"...must sound bitter to him now.
I still don't understand why people expect this team to blow teams out. Hell we have struggled and lost to lesser teams this year so why someone thought we would blowout the Hawks is beyond me.
All of our expectations this season have gone in the crapper. Forget LA or Boston, we're struggling to compete with the dregs of the league. Freakin' bull****!
didnt know artest was out as well...but i was thinking, we love ron ron but he is the addition and he sits out a lot and he holds the damn ball...he is as big of problem as tracy
