You needs to work on getting his defender in foul trouble

    If you watched the past few games, specially in 3rd and fourth qtrs, YAO missed shot after shot but not once did he pump faked or made multiple moves so that his defender can make a mistake and foul him. Possession after
    possession all he does is go to the middle of the paint and throw up a hook shoot . Regardless how good or tall he is, if shot after shot he is making the same move it is easy for any defender to apply enough pressure to alter his shot without fouling him.

    I think Yao is aware of that. At the interview after the embarassing game with Raptors he said he got to improve his play to help the team.

    I'm curious, has there every been a player in the league who has been known as being soft turning tough eventually?
