Nobody question whether he can score 25 a night or not. People question his durability, his desire to win and his motivation even when he's not injured. People are sick and tired of seeing this same shyt over and over every year and they don't get to enjoy the full team. He's so injured prone that the Rockets chance of getting pass the Playoffs is pretty slim let alone compete for a Championship. But looking at the big picture, this is not good for the future of this franchise because if you're going to keep waiting and waiting for these mfkers to get healed...they'll be old by then and you know how it goes when you get old.

Of course he will be fine, he'll turn it on, etc.

We're also guaranteed to make the playoffs, get out of the first round, and win the championship just like every other year.

A thread should not be made to blast another poster, but to make a point about the Rockets. These are all opinions, they all have a place. That's what makes the board fun. I like the back and forth. What I don't like is name calling, so juvenile, and putting down other posters. Disagree, made jokes, tease, have fun. Fundamentally this is a fantasy where we all act like we know something. Actually, some days, it seems like the Rockets are a fantasy when posters make more sense than they do.

Aren't we already one of the top 5 oldest teams in the league?

And that was before signing Deke.

Buddy, you gotta read the GARM a little more... durvasa may once in a while talk about Tmac's pitfalls but he is no way a basher of Tmac... you'd probably be closer to the mark with Antisonic and northeastfan (although this member bashes them all lol). his posts are one of the more objective ones and you really shouldn't be singling out people in your thread posts especially when they haven't done anything wrong.

Just imagine if we had 2005 T-Mac with Landry, Artest, Brooks, and Battier

    we would have multiple championships

I am as weary of the T-Mac bashing as anyone, but you are most certainly mistaken if you think durvasa is a T-Mac basher.

have to agree with that...you have ron, tmac, yao, and great bench. what else do you want...???

But still, every year we come up short, because of another excuse...

Ha. Lately it seems like Rockets fans = Masters of doom and gloom.

Everyone relax and have fun. Times aren't so bad. We have a contending team that could do some damage in the playoffs.

This is a million times better than waiting for Shandon Anderson and Mo Taylor to develop into allstars. (Oh ye with short memories, this was not so long ago).

    The same?

Was he skipping one game of back-to-backs in previous seasons?

Were there articles in the Chronicle about the coach and GM sitting him down to question his intensity in previous seasons? I think I recall JVG softly encouraging him to work harder on a couple of occasions but nothing like what was reported a few days ago.

Did he pull up on wide open breakaways to pass the ball backwards through defenders in previous seasons?

Heaven forbid another Rocket's first round exit. I think the board may crash. Both T-mac and the Rockets need to make it out of the first round to rid the monkey off everyone's back.

To be honest, and I'm not picking on SupportingCast here, there seems to be some sort of sense of entitlement that we will make it to the playoffs come hell or high water. That type of thinking is short-sided because we are not garaunteed anything. If the Rocket's don't make some sort of noise in the offseason we risk a poor playoff seeding not to mention possibly missing the playoffs altogether.

That being said, if we miss the playoffs altogether, than most likely won't be on T-mac. The rest of the player's on the Rocket's need to be giving all they can at every chance they are want any chance of success this season.

We get it. You're upset in the way T-Mac and Rafer are playing. Can you please stop posting so damned much? Go read a book or something.

Some posters have to let the world know how they feel everyday in every post.

As for Durvasa being a Tmac hater that's pretty strange since Sugarlanddream(or some weird michael jackson like name) recently called him a tmac lover. The guy is just a plain stat nut simple as that.

That was probably during the action and I bet Tracy Lamar was smiling as his defender zipped past him for a basket.
