    Anybody have a septoplasty before?

My left nostril was completely blocked when I had it done. Now, 2 years later, it's partially blocked. My right nostril is great, but if my right were to be stuffed, there's no way I could live comfortably by breathing through my left nostril alone.

What should I do? Should I go back to my surgeon to get it checked out? Is this normal?

Your problem can be as simple as allergies--lots of people have deviated septums (sp?) and breathe fine.

I would get allergy-tested and see if allergic triggers are causing the congestion, as well as getting a cat scan and seeing if there has been a "relapse" since the surgery.
