Just what this team needs, another player full of potential to tear it up.....and yet be very injury prone and not be on the floor or 100%.......hmm

Pollaxt- If ur theory were true and we are to believe wade is better than tracy, how did miami go from ,500 to a conf finals with the shaq trade. How come the last playoffs run for miami, they were .480 without shaq and .600 without wade? The best player may not be the most impactful player. Kinda like the rockets. BTW, how has miami fared since shaq was traded?

I think houston is going to be a good spot for anyone they go after of. I'm not buying ny getting 2 of those guys because ny isn't for everyone. Bosh or Johnson aren't really big city guys. Yao is good, not great but if the rox resign artest and brooks keeps improving and the rox make more talent upgrades along with the no state tax, cheap housing and good diversity , its a good sell. I think the only guy who might be on the move is bosh. I think he would be perfect.

    Facts

    1. Rockets will be one of the teams with the most cap space. If you look at the current Roster only 2-3 current players contracts extend beyond 2010.

    2. The Rockets will be able to offer a Max contract equal to Knicks, Miami, etc. Only exception would be players who resigns with there team. Lebron will be able to get Max plus more because of a loyalty clause if he chose to sign with Cleveland. But if he were to sign anywhere else ANYBODY with max dollars can sign him. This is not MLB.

I doubt we get Lebron but we have a very good chance at getting Bosh or Wade. We still have a bigger market that Miami and Toronto. We have a marketing cash cow in Yao and if we keep a great supporting cast in Scola/Brook/Artest we look a team of winning.

Wade has a ring, he dominated the finals by himself, thats not because he's selfish thats because he is that good. you should be banned
