    Another annual video game thread. Now that we're done looking back at 2008, we can look forward to what 2009 will bring us. I usually start off the thread by listing things that I'm personally excited for, but I think I'll do that later.

    I seemed to think that Tekken 6 and Alan Wake were 2008 titles for some reason (games that barely missed a 2007 release). At least I was pretty accurate about the type of new info/media we'd get for FF13...

    -Gears of War 2
    -Far Cry 2
    -Saints Row 2
    -Mercenaries 2
    -Shaun White's Snow Boarding

    so I think I will be set till next Christmas

    Brutal Legend is at the very top of my list.

    I'm also very interested in Ratchet and Clank as well as Infamous. I can't quite work myself up for Uncharted II. I enjoyed the first, but it got really repetitive and uninspired.

    I'm intrigued by Heavy Rain.

    Wishful thinking perhaps, but how bout Half Life 2: Episode 3

    On a more realistic level, Halo Recon has me interested.

    And even though it's out already, Prince of Persia is probably at the top of my list of games to play.
