Dodgers: Brown leaves game with apparent groin injury

    by Fanball Staff - Fanball.com
    Sunday, April 14, 2002

    News
Los Angeles Dodgers number one pitcher Kevin Brown left tonight's game against the Padres in the second inning with an apparent groin injury. We'll pass along more information as it becomes available.

    Views
Is anyone really surprised? Brown had an injured groin earlier this spring. He also went on the disabled list three times last year and underwent offseason elbow surgery.

Yes, I found it interesting and annoying, unfortunately. :( I wish I could trade pitching staffs with my other team. My other Sandbox team has a boatload of pitchers (8 of the top 24), dammit. Hopefully, it's just a start or two.

I'm sorry, I just checked it this morning, when I saw your message. I'm thinking about it and will respond by this evening. That is my work email and I generally check it about once a weekend. I had checked it that afternoon but didn't on Sunday.

    Guys,

I have a surplus of nice outfielders... and I just added red-hot Ruben Sierra to the aforementioned. I currently have 3 OFs on my bench, so if you are in need of a good OFer either send me a proposal, let me know in this thread, or send me an email.

For future references, what do you have to do to join this leaque for next year. I'm tired of playing with total strangers on Yahoo. I don't really know you guys but you are all Rockets fans and that makes us all buddies.

Unless a spot opens up, we won't have room for anyone new next season. If a spot does open up, I will let you know if you are still around then.....

Major would be utterly ridiculous to accept that trade.

I also wish I'd have traded Berkman now as well.

countingcrow: thanks for the offer, but I think I'm going to give my team a while to settle right now. I like the makeup of the entire team. The only place I'm really looking for upgrades is at Catcher and solidifying my 5th pitching spot, but between 4 or 5 candidates, I think I'm OK there.

And you can't pawn Biggio off to me :p I released him in my other league 'cuz he sucks ass :)

I have Rafael Furcal up for trade, along with possibly Richie Sexson for the right price. If you have any offers, let me know.

You should have kept Nomo and released Fogg. I have a feeling you will regret it.

    PEDRO KICKED ASS TONIGHT !!!

Quite a few of the 'experts' I've seen stating an opinion on the matter, have said that 2 or 3 starts from now, he'll be back to 'old Pedro' form, and that spring, and the first few starts of the season should be written off to the surgery.
