i'll have to disagree with you because his post moves can still be better, it's all mental right now....Olajuwon always had the talent but he became the MVP after figuring out the mental part....so yes, statistically he's had better year's as you mentioned but he still has to overcome certain mental errors i.e. fading away for game winners. and about TMAC imposing his "so-called" will. give me a break. Imposing your will is to pick up your teammates, drive hard to basket, nail crucial jumpers, play good defense, having intensity.....NOT jogging up and down the court, letting people layup the ball without even attempting to do anything, shooting unnecessary jumpers when it's not falling, calling for a screen and initiating the move slower than yao, showing absolutely no fire or intensity....sorry man, his will has expired...
he did that for most of the game. but you wnt to see what you want to see. tracy had more energy than any other player outside of artest last night.
i still think it's sad that management has to sit down with you and remind you to play hard and have more intensity.....im pretty sure you read that article....
i did. i simply said for THIS ONE GAME. are you generalizing that the wiz game is every game? if tracy played like he did v. the wiz, i'm sure the confidence in hsi knee would get better by the day knowing he can still do some of the things he used to do.
i dont know dude, I hope he gets better and we go far in the playoffs. how many years can you hope he's healthier the next year?? it's frustrating!
Wow you're giving Yao the benefit of the doubt after 7 years of playing soft in the post while you are complaining about Tmac for this year?
you guys better hope things turn around for Tmac because im worried he'll let you down again and again.....
Even though he has let the team down in the past, he has also been the best player though. Especially in the playoffs.
i vow to fully commit to playing & with intensity equals i won't play b2b's. why some still have hopes is a myth.
i dont know man, Tmac needs some psychotherapy or go see a sports psychologist....people are optimistic and very loyal to Tmac, even when he's grimacing as we throw games away....
we just need a dude like BrooksNoBalls to start a "no playoffs" thread and the Rockets will begin their run. no big deal. just like last season. yeah, the Rockets' play is frustrating. but let's be real - 4 starters are playing but not in full strength: - the Rockets are lucky if T-Mac will be healthy by mid-March. Wade, who had knee surgery the summer b4, was not the same until Olympics. - Yao is slower than ever. He said he's fully healed but it's obvious he's not in his top form. - Ron and Battier are not moving well. Ron has a twisted ankle. Battier is coming back from his ankle surgery. Why nobody complains about Battier? Battier is not same as last season. I guess it's becoz you dont see Battier's play in boxscore. I wont judge this team until March.
Brilliant. I possess the power to determine the outcome of the Rockets' season. And here I was thinking it may have something to do with Tracy McGrady and the rest of the players that actually play for the team. And the coach. Quit the childish namecalling and see what's really going on.
Tracy didn't play with more energy than anyone not named Artest . Way to revision history. Everyone of the them took the Wizards lightly until the fourth quarter when the second unit decided to wake up. Artest himself didn't play hard until the fourth.
Where is that Rockets team that went all out last year in every quarter? The difference is especially noticeable on the defensive end and on offense (starting unit). Last night at the game, they looked like a team in need of a couple of long practices.
Actually he drove the ball alot early. He just couldn't finish for crap so he started going back out. But yeah 5/15 or whatever it was isn't pretty.
