It's just an unbelievable night by the Rockets.

I watched the Suns against the Spurs on Christmas day,on the Halftime Report,it showed the Wilbon&Barry's fave 5 NBA top team,we ranked 4th.I don't think that's a bad berth.

After tonight's game,I don't even think we deserve that Fave 5.If,they just emphasized on the Rockets Health issue,Yao,Ron and T-Mac stay healthy,We could be a formidable team that could threaten the Lakers in the West.So what now?We can't even knock off that scrub Wiz?OFF NIGHT?Okay, not this time,no effort until the rally ignited by our 2nd unit players.

Introspection is needed for our starters!

I have no idea why you have the confidence with the team, but after an ugly loss,i think i definitely need such a positive post to make me feel better.

Yup from this statement you are just trying to be nice. No way in hell anyone should truly believe the Rockets are the 2nd best team in the NBA.

Rockets are the only team in the WC that I respect. plus a healthy Rockets team IMO is better then the Celtics...

Cheer up the chimpmucks are here :D

    SA is 20-10

    Mavs are 18-12

How are those crap teams? Those teams are nothing like the others on your list.

Yet this very team just last year, with the players you mentioned above, reeled off 22 wins in a row, most without Yao, and finished with 55 wins.

Geez, I realize last night sucked...but let's not lose all perspective here.

I was at that game. Brooks started. Rafer was not dressed. Not coincidentally, the Rockets clicked on all cylinders and won the game easily by building a double digit lead in the first 6 minutes and never looking back.

This may get a lil off topic, but this is my point on why AB should definitely be the starter. We need a spark at the beginning of the game to get us going. Rafer obviously can't do that due to his lack of being a real playmaker. Thats why I say START AARON BROOKS and we won't have to worry about the pesky lottery bound basement teams sneaking a win from us.

I think that we have enough fire power coming off the bench to keep us going with Ron, Von, Carl, Brent, and even maybe Luther a lil... kinda, sorta. Anyway my point is start Brooks and the energy needed to begin the game will be there.

At the time we played San Antonio Max...they were without Manu and Parker, the Mavs were without Howard...they were both easily beatable teams with effort.

Therefore they belong on the list.

And who were we without? Funny to hear this said when you consider the injuries that have plagued the Rockets all season long.

Of course they're beatable...but they're not trash teams, even with some key parts out.

Who would have thought that one of the better threads was made by a Lakers fan? Wish we had more fans that didn't have the "one game, sky is falling" mindset. It's sad really. To the point that I can't even visit this board after a lost. Funny because these are the same people that call other team fans idiots but they are just as bad as the fans they think they are better than.

Of course Laker fan is going to make this thread, they are laughing their arses off knowing that the Rockets aren't real contenders.

i dont know about you guys but the last three thunder games I've seen have been for more entertaining than the last 3 rocket games I've seen. And yeah the thunder lost those games and so did the rockets.

i am seriously considering to watch other teams that actually go out there and give a solid effort than this squad right now. i never though i would think that i would say that. at least under JVG the rockets were always prepared and gave a solid effort even if the talent wasn't there.

it absolutely makes me sick to my stomach.

hopefully it isnt the curse of trading steve francis for literally nothing just before christmas
