He has had a bad year without a doubt with only few exceptions, heart is not enough but hardly anyone else has even a pulse on this basketball club.

Yes all his TO and bad plays in the second half were the difference on this game that allow the Wizard to gain confidence.

I agree, these are the Wizards. NOTHING to be optimistic about.

That first half was the worse I've seen the rockets play in a looong while. Not only was this a 5 win team we played against...it was a 5 win team without their best player, Caron Butler. Yao shot wasn't there all night, Tmac's shot was flat most of the game, Battier wouldn't shoot the ball, turnovers gave the Wizards a double-digit lead. The Wizards really didn't do much to win this game. The Rockets gave themselves the loss.

You can always see positive on this game. The Rockets donated this game to the Wizards out of pity. :D

Yep,we lost to another scrub team again.Last time we lost to Pacers, then excuses came up that they defeated BOSTON and LA,so we were optimistic about it.But this time,IT'S TOTALLY NUFF TO BE OPTIMISTIC ABOUT!

I agree. He took the blame for the loss, when clearly some other weak a$$ perfomances were to blame. I also liked Rafer's comments... suprisingly. He was basically saying that the team should be embarrassed with the performance and that people should not have to pay money to see that.

I agree, Rafer. Don't let it happen again.

shane battier's D this year is non-existent. Maybe he is injured or just getting old, but he is not the same player as last year.

Has anyone seen the Spurs schedule for Jan. ? They play Memphis like 10 times and the clips, Ok, just scrub teams the whole month except for one matchup with LA. The Hornets have it pretty easy as well so the Roxs could be down this month if they don't fix what is broke !!!!!!!!!!

I'm so tired with Rafer and Tmac. In Rafer we have fool's gold, he's just a borderline starting point guard in this league. I would rather have Brooks starting for us at this point, he has way more upsides than Rafer. As for Tmac, he has no continuity, he sits a few games, comes back and plays a game, then sits for a few more...enough already!

I want to see some changes with Tmac and Rafer, for you Yao bashers, lay off him, he has been consistent all season, he played 46 mins last Sat.

I see the real leader on our team is Artest . If we can have a consistent starting line up of :

    Brooks
    Bary
    Artest
    Scola
    Yao

I think we can ride this unit all the way to April.

In the interview, Rafer said it best of how the Wizards won...

"They just had to show up because we didn't"

No you ask a dumb question bring in the open heart surgery, like he was playing vs a disable player or something. There is a reason he is playing, he have no problem with his heart no more.

So if Kobe did struggles vs Mobley did you going to ask how many did Jordan strugles vs a guy with a bad heart?

Nobody, especially the Battier cult, wants to hear that. They don't wanna hear the truth. On offense he runs around like a chicken with his head cut off and as you point out his D is non existent. Somebody in the game thread, I think BrooksBall, pointed out that 2nd/3rd tier wings have been scoring easily on him all year...McCants, Salmons, and tonight it was Nick Young. I think Shane has got to go...preferably to Portland (since they have expressed interest in him) for Outlaw and Frye. Hopefully, the Battier cult doesn't come after both us with a vengence for critcizing their infallible leader.

Also, Rafer should not start and should not play more than 10-15 mpg.

I'm so disappointed and upset right now.

Great!!! Memphis just took SA to double over time and SA got lucky that they didn't call a foul two times in the same play on them. And they were playing at home.
