I watched the game and the Rockets had a typical bad game that every good team goes through. Rockets best weapon is there defense so they will bounce back... Rockets have always played better after the all-star break so have patience.. Rockets are still the 2nd best team in the NBA and will give the Lakers a run for there money in the WCF.

    RELAX!

    ;)

The problem is that we are always playing bad. When was the last time we actually blew out a crappy team? And right now we are definitely the 2nd best in the WC, neither point-wise nor performance-wise.

shush, we need more criticism to get better. If we keep saying we'll be fine, its gonna go alright we're gonna get kicked out of 1st round again.

We will own your Lakers in the WCF.

Then we'll wake up from that dream and maybe show up to play against 5-23 teams. That'd be a nice first step.

This wasn't just missed shots, this was terrible and lazy play. No excuses. Just move on.

I just can't help but see how ironic this is.

Another team's fan is actually spazzing less than us.

I have seen to many Rocket fans say that for many years now. wait until after the all-star break thats when Rockets will usually go on there 13-15 game-winning streaks.

You should worry more about T-Mac then the Rockets.

The problem is that two of the "big three" are giant wussies.

    Duncan, Ginobli, Parker
    Garnett, Allen, Pierce
    Bryant, Gasol, Odom
    and heck Lebron by himself,

all refuse to lose against crap teams like the Wizards at home.

This is about heart, not coaching.

Lots of sloppy play in the 2nd quarter by Artest (who made up for it later) and Yao not hitting the broad side of a barn. I'll take this L. It wasn't for lack of effort. I'll tell you that even though he didn't have a really great game, McGrady looked a lot better than he had in the last few games. Eh, you'll have 6 of these games a year where they don't show up at first and can't knock down any shots. Move on.

2nd best team in the NBA?? Now, I tend to be a pessimist, but you've got to be joking!

Cleveland, Boston and LA are on a completely different level right now.

I would agree if this was one game, but it is the 6th game they have lost to crap teams.

    1. San Antonio
    2. Clippers
    3. Grizzlies
    4. Mavs
    5. Pacers
    6. Wizards

All of them they lost because they just didn't compete...the problem with the Rockets is they are completely leaderless....no one is accountable....it is maddening.

This team is too inconsistent to win anything. Of course if we just lose to sorry teams, at least they won't be seeing any of those in the playoffs... whoopie.

    Kash is correct..

Lakers lost to the Kings/Heat/Indiana this season so don't be down on the team.. the Rockets should be fine once T-Mac gets healthy down the stretch.

Lakers don't allow bad teams to win on our floor anymore it will be a very rare if we did cause I don't expect the Lakers to have more then 3-4 loses at home this season.. on the road though we always give Bad teams hope so the Rockets are not any different. :D

The "problem" with the Rockets is and always has been since Day 1 of the Yao draft...they play too many players who are some combination of too short, too slow, too weak or too unathletic. The list of losses or games that should not have been competitive is much longer than the 6 you've demonstrated.

When you continously trot out players like Shane Battier, Rafer Alston, Chuck Hayes and Luther Head they absolutely have to give a maximum effort to defeat weak teams and compete with WC elite teams.

Players with skill sets like the aforementioned fundamentally ride the coattails of Yao and McGrady. If either of those 2 are struggling, it's lights out against the majority of the NBA.

The "Speed Team" that brought the Rockets back vs WAS is an example of what can be done with BOTH hustle AND skill. If you only have the nebulus "hustle" you're stuck in the mud.

    Rockets fan don't understand that.

The Celtics just lost to the Warriors and Cleveland was save by the ref at home on national TV to a 4 win team Wizzard.

this is just a dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, stupid post....

I'm very upset with the rockets but we're certainly not losing because 2 of our big 3 are "wussies" and have less heart then some of the guys mentioned above. i'm done with the heart argument. no one can even tell me what the f#$k lack of heart means and certainly no one can explain how lamar odom has it and yao doesn't. get the f#$k out of here with that.

the rockets are playing AWFUL defense and allowing unbelievable amounts of dribble penetration. that's why we're losing. we can't make a stop.

While it should improved eventually, that's still not an excuse for some of the losses we've had. we'd easily have about 5-6 more wins this season with the exact same roster if van gundy was here. I said the same thing last year. van gundy is the master of extracting hustle out of role players and getting teams to overachieve. adelman does great things with great teams, and i think we will have one when we're healthy, but he's done a bad job at extracting more out of less.
