We need to try and get something from him. I've been hoping and hoping for quite sometime that he would eventually come around. Its starting to feel the same way it did with Hakeem at the end of his carreer. We always hoped that he would get over this injury or that injury and be the old Hakeem again. It never happened though. When the body gives out, its just never the same.

Sad thing for McGrady though is that not only has his body given out, his heart and mind seem to be gone too.

Funny you should say that. I was at the Warriors v Celtics game last night and I thought the exact same thing. I would trade McGrady for Stephen Jackson in a hearbeat. I can't imagine even considering that even just last year.

However, I don't think the Warriors would do that. They would be stupid if they did.

No Stephen Jackson, I would want some up and coming players.......not veterans with attitude problems like S. Jackson.

Pick up Magette or something like that....a talented player that has not worked out.

If Tracy is going to be traded, I wouldn't mind getting Redd. The in-n-out game between him and Yao would be fun to watch.
Or for a starting PG, which would let us then trade rafer, and keep Brooks coming off the bench.

Sure that would be nice, but I'd take Stephen Jackson in a heartbeat.

We don't want too much up and coming type players. Definitely don't want to rebuild as I also fear Yao's body may be short lived too.

I'd take that too, however I don't think the Bucks would.

I think the Bucks would just because of the attention a Tracy McGrady would bring to the club.

Artest is injured, severely... But look at the heart he is showing! This is what upsets me about TMac. Same with Battier, injured but plays with passion. Doing what is needed of them. Playing defense and making the hustle plays.

artest is like an oldschool rocket where it was about heart and toughness.
moses malone, otis thorpe, mario elie, maxwell, barkley, dream
artest he belongs in that group.
clyde is even saying they got him for heart and toughness.

This is a point I made in another thread. People were saying its not fair to expect a superstar to play hard every single night. But when you get used to the guys you need, along with Cassell, Horry, even Battier, you just expect more.

those other people care about dunks and scoring titles. they don't care about the rockets.

ron artest did not have to play.
this was a regular season game early in the season. that shows you character.
the other people you refer can't find that on the stat sheet or sportscenter.

artest is exactly what this teem needs; we HAVE to resign him. i haven't felt like we needed a player like him since barkely.

At the start of the season I wouldn't have thought I'd say this but if Tmac keeps this up... keep Artest and trade Mac. It's time to unload this foo on a season of 2K9.

I don't know whether this thread is too much for Tmac with bum knee. I just want to say to Tmac that when he is on the court, please bring all energy and effotrs there. Otherwise, just have a good rest.

For all you Tracy McGrady Supporters, I hope you never own or run a business. If you accept the work effort he puts forth for his salary, you will end up with a Massive Fail.

Sad thing is, I think most of his supporters are probably about 25 or younger. 1983 is about when CPS started making a huge stand against discipline and now we have a bunch of primadonnas running around.

Spare the spoiling, beat your child!

As a business owner I concur, TMac is a problem.
