You guys are all suckers for this rumor. This deal will never happen because we trade away one liablity (Head) for another liability (CV).

Morey knows better than to be stuck with another liability he has to get rid of in CV.

If you follow the Bucks, you would know CV is the worst defender on the Bucks. His effort was so bad, he lost his starting position to a rookie in Yi Jianlian last year. If CV isn't scoring, the other team goes on huge runs because CV has zero defense.

Fortunately, Morey knows better and that's why he is GM. He won't incurr another known liablity on the Rockets that will drag down team defense.

Stromile Swift is a complete bust who has failed under every coach he's played for. What are you thinking? He's one of the dumbest & laziest players in the NBA.

Like I posted afterward, he did kill us in a last year game. I wrote nothing more. Only a idiot would argue a point that no one is arguing.

You cannot deny the Swift was dunking in a game last year all over us. I remember even the commentors were saying why he didnt play like that for us.

There is NOTHING more I am saying about Swift. Damn why are two people treating it like that.

Now the coach reference which, A_3PO I hope was your issue unlike the other dude was in reference to hopefully if this deal goes down CV would play better. Thats it nothing more.

Maybe Morey thinks Landry IS a liability along with Head and plans to let CV walk once his contract runs out, therefore getting rid of THREE liabilities and giving Houston more money to work with...

this team needs to take a risk and go for it cause be wont really even contend for a ring if the same team we have now goes into the playoffs as is.

Nobody that watches Rockets basketball would think Landry is a liability.

Actually, that just makes your original post completely pointless. It would be like me pointing out that Alston played like an all-star against Cleveland, and try to make inferences like Alston is an all-star or can bloom into an all-star. It would make no sense.

CV is 5 years into the league and has never been more than a jumpshooter who doesn't play defense, doesn't rebound, doesn't pass, and can't beat out an overrated rookie for the starting position for a horrible team. Landry has been one of the most efficient players in the game who complements this offense well. Coaching can change a player, but why take on more risk for a team filled with risks?

CV for Landry would be highway robbery...

...and the Rockets would be the victims of aforementioned robbery.

Keep Landry, say no to CV.

keep landry trade scola instead. we need some length and athleticism at pf. so far we don't have any athletic bigs besides landry and landry lacks length.

    7 rebounds per game
    almost a block a game
    13 points per game
    22 min per game
30 percent from the three (is is a PF....)
    this year stats

So where are you looking at?

Lets face it a shooting PF is a upgrade. It will be more defining to Yao's game. Putting 4 wing guys and 1 central. Give me a break. Can you say threes all day or Yao will dominate no questions ask. Can Landry do that for us? Landry is good inside but honestly a 3 point shooting (regardless of percentage as long as he is recognized) will upgrade Yao's offense hugely. So regardless of how good CV actaully is if he can make a 3 pointer here and there too keep the defense on him its GG Yao.

That's why Jazz were able to score twice INSIDE without...how pathetic is the coach. We're up by 3 ..it's OKAY to have Yao in there!! So what if they tie?? If we're up by 2 i would be concern to have Yao in there because Jazz might do pick and roll with Yao and shoot 3. Rick Adelman is stupid!!

Maybe if you're a fair weather fan who is fascinated by a highlight dunk or hustle play....but a true fan can see Landry may never be able to get a clean shot off consistently, so he may never be a true scoring option. Also, you pretty much HAVE to give him minutes because he's too good to bench, but then not good enough to give him big minutes. So he's a liability in the sense that he takes up a roster spot and cap space to play a role that others can fill or that is simply not a priority. Don't get me wrong, I love Landry, but he's looking replaceable and Scola isn't. I think Landry's fascination has to do with the way he does things, he doesn't just lay in the ball, he punches it through...he not only catches a rebound, he goes extremely high to get it, so its more about how he does it than he amount of times he does it. Scola does it more often, but with less flair, so it doesn't stand out as much.

So you'd rather give up nonstop hustle, smarts, solid jumpshot, good rebounding, tons of all-pro experience, and a consistent contributor to have TWO athletic bigs that play the same and are the same except for a few inches??

I think i would do this only if we can let Mihim walk and resign Odom and Artest and take a shot at Bibby.

Looks like CV left the Bucks game tonight with back spasms.
    From a Bucks forum.

Woelfel on with Sparky tonight. Here's the summary:

Said significant chatter around the league the last five days regarding Bucks players being available.

-Four teams looking at Damon Jones

-Lakers would do Lue for Mihm

-CV in play with multiple teams. Has some value around the league right now. Said that scouts he was watching the game with thought Skiles pulled CV for bad decisions, but it was really a bad back.

-Woefel hearing many people around the league mention to him that Redd is being shopped by the Bucks.

-Hearing no one is safe except for Bogut.

yeah i think you are overrating scola. his defense is overrated. did u c kirlenko's game against him today? also what solid jumpshot are you talking about? All I see is scola out there missing open jumpers, or doing nothing with the ball in his hands.
