I like VC's length...6'11"...i mean the Rockets never have a PF with that height. That's why VC is able to get at least almost 1 block per game. And his rebounding is better than Landry. So i imagine if they play the lineup of Yao VC Artest Battier Brooks....they'll be fine in terms of helping Yao rebounding.

If you are looking for a comparison, think Swift.

You know, if the Lakers and Bucks really want to do a Lue-Mihm deal, and if (besides a legit PF) the Bucks are in need of good shooters who can stay healthy, then a three-way deal with the Rockets involving Luther Head would work under the salary cap rules.

    Bucks get Luther Head
    Lakers get Tyronn Lue
    Rockets get Chris Mihm

Everybody fills a need. Plus, with the Francis trade, the Rockets can absorb the approximately $550k salary increase by trading Head for Mihm.

    Just a thought.

Villanueva is soft as hell. Why would you want that pansy on this team?

well most of the sites i've seen that are reporting the rumor share the same thoughts...and i don't mean fan reactons, but the actualy writers on the sites....that its a fairly equal trade as far as stats are concerned, but that it works out for both teams/players. Landry gets more PT and is a Skile's type of player, while CV fits RA's system better and should do better here than in Milwaukee....

You know its pretty interesting why the deal has yet to be done; maybe its waiting until Monday with League approval. or it completely died or the Rockets/Bucks/Lakers are working on a bigger trade that has Michael Redd-Lamar-Odom involved.

Cause I have no idea why this trade is not done yet considering the Impending trade between the Lakers and Bucks...

Villanueva is a better fit. He may not be as mature as Landry, but hopfully, with the right coaching and the right players around him, he will reach his full potential.

How many years is Villanueva signed for? How does his contract compare with Landry?

I tend to agree, but not real knowledgeable of CV. I like his size and stats. Appears to be at least an equal offensive threat as Landry. Landry is a "keeper" but the need for a young, athletic big is great. If Mihm gets thrown it, I like even better. He would be a good back up for Yao.

lol, you must be joking, right? Go check his "journey" yourself. He is the same clueless unerachiever as before Rockets signed him. And yes he was dunking all over Rockets back then too.

Can play multiple positions... Runs the floor well... Good passing and scoring skills... Must improve intensity and concentration.

Villanueva plays like he is 6'7" so he doesn't help bolster the front court. Mihm arguably does not even belong in the league anymore. I have absolutely no clue why Houston would do this deal when Landry is already a huge contributor off the bench with an even bigger upside.

I think its better for the Rockets if they added Scola instead of Landry.. Chuck Hayes can hold his own.. Yao-CV-Landry-Mihm is a good front-court rotations.

No I am not joking, Swift was playing with vengeance against us last year. It wasnt the same Swift. (only one game that I recall though)

I didnt say nothing about him being better today or nothing. Just that he was dunking all over us like is this the same Swift.

    $3,448,050 (this year)

    $4,623,835 (Qualifying Offer next year)

Landry has a 3 year for 3mil (EACH YEAR, instead of the 10 percent yearly raise).

So to say if this deal went down and CV does good to where we keep him with the QO then with TMAC and CV leaving 2010 would give us more play with Chris Bosh or someone else.
