Im still a Mac fan, but I need him to start progressing towards being fully healthy. I don't know why he suits up if he can't play.

exactly. I hope Tracy gets his act together and leads us to a championship, because I am a ROCKETS fan. Right now, TMac just is not giving the effort.

Lets hope McGrady comes off the bench tonight so we can light a fire under his ass. Then he'll start producing long enough for us to kick him to the curb!!

The thing is... why do people keep coming back to this? So the **** what if he doesn't say "look guys, I was the reason we lost". I'll care when it effects the play of this team. It hasn't yet so its really a moot point.

Its been pretty well established that Tmac is in bad need of a PR group to tell him how to deal with the media. Because he sucks at it.

No, anything he says will be turned around on him. I would say he needs to answer no comment to everything, but then people would just say he doesn't care about anything.

AND the year before that, and he is the ONLY one who bothers to show up in the playoffs. But hey, all we care about is what a hobbled McGrady has done for us lately.

Fake, fake, fake fans through and through.

Well put. People have these expectations about superstars and when they aren't met... then you have what is the Clutch forum.

TMAC's body language can be interpreted many different ways. He doesn't give off the energetic energy that people come to expect in a superstar. Therefore, people just assume he is lazy or doesn't care. In my opinion, TMAC's body language makes him looks calm and confident when he is healthy. Last night, TMAC looked frustrated to me. TMAC just isn't healthy, plain and simple. There is still plenty of season left for TMAC, among others to get healthy.

People just don't understand the notion of rhythm and consistency in basketball. How are we going to go anywhere if we simply abandoned our plan and starting lineup because our starters aren't playing well? TMAC should play if he is able to.

They bash players but they do NOT abandon ship, and they consider all variables at play, but NEVER jump off the bandwagon.

Here is a classic example of Houston fans and how they treat their superstars when they are down/injured:

Houstonians wanted to kick Dream to the curb too at one point of time. Lucky for them, Dream stuck around and brought the city the ONLY two championship banners in its history. Houston is not and will never be a city of champs because superstars will never be around long enough for it to happen. Its bad karma for the fake fans, and it is well earned.

I wish Dream was on the board now to tell all the fake fans off. You guys treat Yao and McGrady like ****, the two guys ironically responsible for anyone giving two sh!ts about Houston basketball in the first place. Lets trade them and see how interested ESPN is in the 9-73 Rockets!

    yup haha

i don't know, can are injury problems be solved by playoff time? we have a good team, and we still have a good record, we're only going to get better, developing chemistry..unless the injury challenges persist.

i wouldn't mind the addition of a good solid young wing player who can score.

Yet everyone keeps saying HE HAS YAO!!. I don't understand why when Yao has been either injured or a liability during the playoffs. So Tmac is not Jordan or Lebron who can carry a team of role players pass the first round. He is like post Shaq and pre Gasol Kobe though.

T-Mac admitted that he didn't work hard in Magic.
I wish he won't say it again.

Threads like this usually sort out the fans who have been following the team for 10+ years and those who have not.

Your making a very broad statement here. MOST Houston fans are great fans. But when you see a player give 100 percent effort every other game or so, it angers people. Being a Rocket fan is more important then being a Tracy fan... or a Yao fan. We love the Houston Rockets and want to see them succeed.
