If Tracy is not involved in the trade, then it suxs. Trading Tracy for a bag of peanuts right now would tickle my fancy. I've never ever seen a player play with less emotion than him.

Landry has never been given the chance to start. Millsap's numbers as a reserve last season:

    8.1 ppg, 5.6 rpg in 20.8 mpg, 50.4%

Landry's numbers as a reserve last season:

    8.8 ppg, 5.1 rpg in 20.6 mpg, 61.6%

To start this season, their numbers as reserves were virtually identical again, getting similar minutes again.

If you give Landry 38 mpg like Millsap has been getting since Boozer went out, I see no reason why he couldn't start scoring 15-20 ppg and grabbing 10 rpg. He would also likely score even more efficiently.

You may be right about Maxiell and Bass but I think that Landry is at least as good as Millsap, maybe better.

I would trade the 29 year old Scola before the 25 year old Landry. Landry has far more upside, unless it is known that his knees are going to be a persistent problem.

I would honestly prefer to give up Scola, I think Landry's athleticism and hustle fit the starting lineup more then what Scola brings. I love Scola but if we're trading one of them, i'd be for keeping Landry.

Landry is not better than CV if he blows out his knee again.

I'd think Morey is hedging bets that Landry's career won't be very long cause it's only a matter of time before he blows out his knee again. Landry simply doesn't look as good as last season.

So cash in Landry right now while you still can.

landry has lost some athlecism but the guy is our only bruiser down low.

Charlie V seems soft, REAL soft. he attempts two 3 pointers a game, and isn't strong enough to bang in the paint like Landry. We're ALSO getting Chris Mihm though Lol. this guy doesn't even play for the Lakers, but if he can somehow revive his skillset then i'm all for this trade.

Charlie V and Chris Mihm add a lot of much needed size. I'm down for this.

not when CV can step out and shoot a 3. As much as i love landry, i would seriously consider this trade.

Hence the reason for sending Dorsey to the DLeague to get him tuned up. Dorsey is 10x the 'bruiser' than Landry.

Not sure if Dorsey is ready or not but I suspect the timing of sending Dorsey down to get some PT is not a coincidence. So maybe Morey/Adleman think Dorsey could be our guy.

Is .294 3pt percentage really being able to shoot the 3 when it's ranked 35th amongst PFs?

btw .294 percentage would be the worst on the Rockets.

It's an interesting rumor. I often wonder when some players get signed if the deal is done with a trade in mind once they're available. When we signed Landry, it crossed my mind that Milwaukee might love to have the guy but doesn't have the roster space or the money to do so straight up. Landry's a hometown guy for Milwaukee, right?

(Just like I never believed Maggette was a long-term signing for GSW. But we'll see what happens there.)

I can see this trade happening---Landry's infected with a bit of what ails some of the other players, just not quite that spark he was before.

Villanueva could give us much of what we need, and a change of scenery might do him good, but if this trade has any legs, it seems to set up another trade, whatever that might be. Wouldn't mind flushing TMac for Redd (awesome scorer) and Jones (expiring contract), but there's no indication of that, so I'll let it go.

If there is another guy that does provide size, interior defense, I have no problem with trading Landry, but getting CV is not "cash in Landry".

There is a reason why Bucks fans all want him gone.

Please dear God no. I know we can get better for Landry than this, even if it did mean giving up Head.

    07-08 0.292%.

the fact i was trying to make is when he's hot he can knock them down with the best of em. i've seen cv light it up from 3pt range numorous times, one of them was against us.
