I am embarrassed with Rockets and T-Mac's play. Really. We haven't looked good at all, offense has been our problem while Jazz got a nice win over Mavs. I don't know. I don't know what we are gonna see. Rafer 1/10, McGrady 2/12 or finally good game from our 'leader'? I think I am not asking for too much. It can easily another dissapointment. We can easily blow this game, like we did in NO. Jazz are banged up at every position, but really it doesn't change anthing. Right now I judt don't se us wining, but really we should and probably HAVE TO get this game. But we have to SHOW IT. No more 'hopes'. Just come out READY and show why you are competing for a championship. T-Mac, time to step pu. Your game has been pathetic. You are not a 11 guy, you gotta SHOW something.
McGrady should not play if he's not healthy, even if it means the Rockets will lose this game. It doesn't matter if "McGrady at 40%" gives the team a better chance of winning. Sit him until he is truly physically up to it.
After the Cavs game, I questioned his effort, but now I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say it's health. Maybe he's able to give a better effort right now. Or maybe not. Maybe he's less able to play with pain than other players. Maybe not. I'm coming to the conclusion that it's not making that much of a difference. The fact is that he is not 100%, and neither are Battier and Artest. The important thing is to get truly healthy, and if sacrificing a few wins right now means making that possible in the long run, I say do it. (But find a way to do it without running Yao ragged.)
Why Artest out? At Cleveland, we quitted the game, but Ron also defended Lebron James by heart. That seems a bit like we lose the game with dignity..
No rotation player in the NBA is 100%. But that's from a physical standpoint. Mentally, TMac still has to be focused on the game when he's out there. But instead of making crisp passes, directing the offense, and leading his teammates (as the formally designated Team Captain).......he looks completely disinterested out there. The pain isn't bad enough to keep him from smiling after his many screwups on the court, so we have to assume that the real problem is that he just doesn't f#$*ing care. Tonight's game against the team that knocked him out of the playoffs the past two seasons will be very telling. If it's the same heartless TMac from the past games that shows up yet again, then Yao, Artest, and Battier need to call him out in public and Adelman needs to bench him until he gets his act together.
Remember back in the day when Clutch used to have a slogan on the site that read something like "Now 100% Quitten-Free"? I think he needs to now retract that statement, unfortunately...
I don't really think anybody is 100% I tought those are health issues, but after thinking about that I pretty much changed my mind. I think it is all about effort, the right shape. Obviously, physically he is not where he would like to be, but he should be getting only better and better. The problem may be his shape. He is obviously prettu much out of shape and that may be the answer why he isn't as agressive as he should be. He just can't make shots, which is pretty frustrating not only for us, I am sure for him too. Now the thing is, he has to get his mind set and work hard on getting back to the right form. He will find it, hopefully soon.
Away from SLC they won't get this kind of Micky-Mouse call from last night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEx4JUDeyAQ I'm sure Dirk's pit smells bad but how is this not one of the flopping offenses that earns a fine? And Dirk was later ejected for a questionable slap on Harpring. Crazy Pills could slap Harpring like a man!

IF the rockets want to win comfortably they need to start aaron brooks...our offenses feels much smoother with him. Bring Alston off the bench, i can't believe Adelman said Rafer's starting spot is not in jeopardy because it should be with how brooks has been playing
We can expect the same ol' Rafer with Steve Francis gone. The only thing motivating him was the fact that there was somebody on the bench waiting to take his spot... mark my words.
Well,I won't pin my hope on Tracy anymore, done with all that **** he'd done in the past.No passion,no heart.damn.I would still be a tmac fan,but not a die hard one. Just please bring us a W out of this ******* matchup between j*zz and our Rockets. This is a needed win.I'll boo 'em til the day I die. BTW,will Ron Ron be back in the lineup or not tonight? How bad is his torn ligaments and how is it feeling now?Any update?
