I've decided to purchase a new dishwasher for my home. I'm really a novice at purchasing any type of kitchen appliance (I'm more of a a/v electronics kind of guy) Any recommendations? I'm a single guy who washes dishes once a week for himself and the occasional friend that may hang out at my place. I'm looking for something quiet, with a stainless steel exterior, and that requires minimal rinsing (so the dishwasher can take care of dishes/cutlery that may have week old food particles stuck on it) G.E.? Maytag? Bosch? Specific model anyone recommends? Specific website that might be good for me too look at?
Oh - and if there are any good stores (i've heard home depot is the place to get the best deal) that anyone knows of where I can make my purchase this weekend - I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
well, if you're going to put it on credit, home depot always offers 6 mo/0% interest or sears always offers 12 mo/0%.
Thanks - but I was planning to pay cash. I heard that Home Depot is currently offering 10% of all kitchen appliances, that why i threw their name out there. If there are others that anyone knows of with better deals, I'm all ears.
I just got a Bosch SS55ME. It is a beast, and you cant even hear it running, unless you are standing right next to it. No rinsing required either. It is a 1000 dollars for the 55, but you can get the lower model(33?) for about 600. Check out consumerreports.org, and you will find it in their "recommended" section.
